Hi, doing the same TV console aslo with Soundbar. Can advise 1) What is the height of your Tv Console (the lower tip) to the floor? My contractor say usually 1ft, but if 1ft from floor, + 13 ft tv console (height) and soundbar (7ft) and the space in between, will be already around 40inch from floor, when wall mounting the TV. iS It too height already for the TV ? 2) What is the Total height of the TV console? 3) what is the height of the TV (the lower tip) from floor? Thanks -

Wonder why this small curve in ledge at the wall ? Why can't the builder just flush it straight.. It is only about 1- 1.5inch... and rather unsightly. Any expert advice on what can i do to make it a straight wall ? Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Any takers for this query... Need some advise or clarification if anyone had purchase and used matt finish sink, which is supposed to be most scratch resistant ? Thanks

Following the demolition work, clearing the debris was a huge huge task... kudos to them. But one small error, they place the sand and cement at the wrong area which would hinder the tiler from commencing the tiling as they will start from the living room. Sigh... another addtional job to move them. 1) Arrival of our tiles ans cement 2) Debris cleared and sand loaded 3) Addtional work to move this lot elsewhere before tiling can begin

Uploaded with ImageShack.us Dear experts/forummers, Need some advices. I got this kitchen sink that is matte finish. As I want the sink to be scratch resisitant, the salesperson propose this sink to me. Had anyone install matte finishing sink ? Are there any problems? due to the matte finishing (i.e. a bit rough), will it trap particles or water and have water spots more easily as compare to other glossy or brush finishing kitchen sink? I am thinking aloud as in similar analogy such as matte laminate and glossy laminate. Matte laminate more able to spot scratch and dirt. Thanks.

After meeting up with a few IDs and reviewing the received quotes, we decided to appoint Home Success for simple reasons, the ID (Kenny) whom attended to us when we were doing price reccee: - listens to our requirements - patient and not too quick to speak or kept on talking without listening - able to offer practical and cost savings suggestions - did not gave the impression of "no money no talk" - send the quotes to us promptly Our plans were to - renovate the whole flat (hack all tiles, rewiring, change all windows etc) - remove the balcony wall to make the living/study area bigger - remove the right wall (kitchen doorway) to make the area seems bigger and natural light to the kitchen - seal the common toilet door and access only through service balcony Our ID brought us to Soon Bee Huat at Toh Guan and White Horse at Sungei Kadut, our preference was White Horse: - the showroom was comfortable to walk - many tiles attracted our attention compared to Soon Bee Huat - over the past one month, we visited White Horse every weekend to ensure we chose the right tiles or lookout for any new arrivals. The sales lady, Annie, never failed to attend to us each time we were there or acknowledge us when she was attending to other customers. She was quick to pick up our preference and provide us with samples/mock-up, when we were undecided she will make the effort to bring out bigger pieces of tiles from the warehouse and line on the floor for us to do comparison.
