Thanks! Can ask what you mean by seal off ? Cos what the electrician did for me is use a Blank Plate to cover the original point, not put back the original plate. He says the SCV ppl can open up the plate to see the original point -

Wondering.. for those who extend or shift your TV Point, how is it done ??? -
Learnt some important things which I like to share with people who are going into renovating their homes... 1. Remember to communicate with/to your ID on the lighting/electrical works and also the switches including layout and whether 1way/2 way.. This is usually the first part of the reno that they start on, and by the time false ceiling is up, many things cannot be done already. 2. Ensure your ID is aware of the exact dimensions of your hood, especially if it's a chimmey one, the depth of the chimmey. This might affect your cabinets... 3. Might not be good idea to buy furniture before your reno finish. If you do, always be reminded to check if your carpentry will have any impact on it, position of lighting also. 4. Youneed to know the dimension of Fridge, Washer you intend to get. Other appliances such as TV, especially if you are going to have it mounted, should be considered too. (This point actually contradicts point 3. ) Will write when I recall more

That's tough.. it would be good to decide before you do up ur wiring. Bring your floor plan also. He gave us advise on where's good to place our 2 speakers at the back. Also, the additional installation charge includes providing the Cables before you run your cables/wires, and they will come another time to install the unit. They deliver the cables to our place, and our electrician ran it together with the electric cables in the false ceiling. Also, as we are mounting it in the false ceiling, we got our ID to add enforcement to the specific areas. Thus this arrangement allows us to hide those cables. -

if it's only 1 compressor, definately can fit. I have seen 2 compressors fit also. I think he just want you to upgrade to Invertor. -

I think they can always use the kitchen window to transport instead of the smaller window. Thus, have not heard of the unit cannot go through the window. -

Agree!! I will purposely say loudly to my friend when they start ringing their bell behind us. This is PEDESTRIAN pavement, for Humans to Walk, not Cycling Path. -

Im using a Sharp Microwave cum Conventional Oven in my mum's place. We bought it like 700-800 back then, and it's still working well 8 years later now. The only thing is the bulb blew and would cost like few tens to replace (include labour). We decide to just use it "in the dark" and hope to change when it breaks down. I have used it to bake also.
