It should range between 100-200 to knock down a wall, partthereof. But that also depends on the surrounding structure and if a new wall (or part of one) will be constructed in place of the one torn down. Depends on how you design the place I guess

I think it's about 3-5k (?), depending on the size of your house.

I totally know what you mean. I was the same when we were settling our resale. Read so many horror stories that I started worrying about my own transaction. Couldn't really relax until the keys were in my hands

When you mention pencil leg, I just can't help but imagine it with dip-dyed tips! I'm totally in love with pencil legs, especially ones that are dipped like this - http://m.flickr.com/photos/likethatone/8615972087/lightbox/Bought the cat scratch post from pet lovers!

Thank you! it's fun to add the little touches, it's what I've been waiting to do since we moved. Only thing is that it takes a while to build character for the house Made more bunting for the place last night How is your renovation going 3Dyms? Settled the issue with your seller?

Good looking kitchen things! the tap is quite sleek! Does it go well with your black hob?

I totally agree. If you're planning to stay in this place for a good while, spend the money and do what you need done, because it's going to be much better than wanting to change it later after you move in. Tiles were a must change for us because we couldn't stand the old "obiang" look of the original ones, and the aircon was a must-go because aircons break down whenever, so it's wise to just change it now since you're not living in it yet. Trying to change aircon later after moving in is going to be such a pain. All the best with your renovation!

Yeah, as much as it's tempting for me to order a vintage print wallpaper, I think it's a bad idea for me to put wallpaper because my tastes and fancies change. I actually read somewhere on an interior design site that wallpapers are among the top bad choices that people usually make when designing their houses

He keeps lying on the hard ground, silly puppy. Guineas' area is set!

Thanks for reminding us of another area we overlooked! We didn't want a feature wall, and didn't want built-in TV console, so we have to make do with exposed wires because we chose to mount our TV. This is how it looks. We bunched the wires together using a wire manager. The TV wall is so empty though. Need some ideas

Nice diamond clock! all the best with your wedding and reno!

nice pictures for inspiration! You should totally pursue the island/dining table if you are able to. We sort of did that and love it all the best with reno!

We don't open the balcony doors unless we're home So far, the cat seems more interested in lazing or following us around than exploring the balcony ledge.
