nowadays pretty hard to get a non-inverter, plus the refrigerant tat most non-inverter aircon uses is R22 which gonna stop selling in 2016. unless u got lobang, of coz having a non-inverter would be a better choice.

used to own a Fujitsu Inverter couldn't remember the model already as i wanted to forget this horrendous experience with Winfinity. Bought system 4 for about $3.2k.. and the outdoor unit went dead after 2yrs as my house always tripped after a thunderstorm. called their technician, came down and diagnose that the motherboard is faulty and some other components, total $900+ for repair. warranty for the board will be 3mths. Wouldn't want to spend unnecessary money and called my other friend who do freelance installation of aircon and servicing. He quoted me $1600 for a Daikin non-inverter system 4... and it has lasted me for 3yrs without any problems.

Peace & Quiet. Any noise, kpkb at security, they will take action accordingly, live in HDB? you are allowed to make reasonable noise from morning all the way until maybe night 7pm? call police and they won't do anything. If your contractor make too much noise, be prepared to get chase out by security or stop work immediately until further notice.
