  4. I go to Kam Loong, and that one is FANTASTIC...best chinese version of curry fish head i have eaten...recommended it to friends and they agree it is the best too!

  7. Oh i don't mean growing garlic to harvest the bulb...more so to harvest the flowers...they are very pretty and they taste great as a garnish..mild garlic tinge to it. I grow the normal stuff....basil (Italian and Thai), Chilli Padi, Dill, mint, rosemary, garlic. But i am inspired to try out that purple one you have...so pretty...would love a spot of colour if you know what i mean. Not a good cook la...cooking makes me happy so I cook a lot after work...helps me de-stress

  11. Le creuset and staub are dutch ovens...handy if you enjoy making stews or braising stuff. I also use it when i make pasta sauces in big batches cos i don't have to bother stirring it...prep it...bring to boil and leave in the oven to simmer.

  13. Agree...i tested a light coloured quartz and tumeric stained it....something to consider if you use tumeric in your cooking

  17. It is almost as simple as couscous...and it is a super grain! Way better for health...and you can get organic quinoa at tan boon liat building

  19. Sia Huat has some interesting pots...not as "branded" as WMF etc...what you can do is go down to ToTTs at Bukit Timah and have a look. It will give you a better idea whether it is worth the hike come September sale.
