    June, still think timber blinds will give it a nicer effect, if its just slightly sunny, you can tilt the blinds. I have done some sourcing for timber blinds. I initial quote freaked me out... Just timber blinds for study and dining, day and night curtains for two rooms $3,400. Main bulk was for the timber blinds. In the end I got a quote that less then half for the same stuff done.     Thanks for your kind words...i am at the final leg now...and trust me...i am starting to feel anxious..LOL I think best you re-focus on another design area...anything that affects the external facade of the flat...can't be done. In a summary. It is the same with private apartments/condos. Anything that changes the facade...can't be done. Imagine if everyone started modifying the size etc of their windows...the block is gonna look really "confused"

    erm...won't that be a problem when you are actually in the toilet? Your neighbours can see you on the throne/in the shower. What if you are really tired and you decide to sit on the throne and you forget to shut the window?

    Oh dear...if you change your mind and you wanna find something in Singapore fast...this is what i bought...italian designed and made...and the price point is just SLIGHTLY more then the grohe (made in thailand) range. Hope it helps

    yea i got my faucet via amazon...got a kraus one.... and it is BEAUTIFUL! No regrets.....will be installing in about two weeks time, can't wait! They had a taller "spring" portion one..but it was too high for my kitchen...you might wanna consider.
