True. And reviews are kinda important for imported products since there is no way to get a look and feel of it physically. Features advertised also not sure if it works and how well it works. I read on the feature list that when doorbell is pressed, it will make an announcement to visitor/stranger that owner is not in and to leave a video/voice message. Wondering if that can be turned off/disabled completely. The auto detect function not clearly explained too. Not sure if it records when detect activity or when doorbell pressed... So many uncertainties.

Do anyone have experience with the digital peephole viewer/camcorder marketed under the "ominia" brand? From the item description I see that it has a voice message function which "announce" that nobody is at home and to leave/record a message. Can it be turned off? How? I plan to buy this if I can turn off the announcement... Thanks in advance! Hi all, I am looking at getting a system 4 inverter aircon for my 4-rm flat. Saw that samsung sys 4 aircon is quite cheap and has alot of features/functionalities. Hi Gymrat76, During the OTP or collection of keys, did HDB mentioned anything regarding your marriage cert? I just had my OTP 2 weeks ago and the officer in charge did mentioned that I need to produce marriage cert during collection of keys. To avoid forgetting, immediately after going home, I submitted a softcopy via MyDoc@HDB. HDB will then acknowledge the submission via SMS. Perhaps you can do the same. Hope that helps. Kenny

Btw, I called up the HDB Sales officer. He told me the valuation price of the unit is also based on the condition/state of the unit. Seems like he is trying to hint that I am getting what I've paid for. That's a few hundred thousands in SGD... wt*? I called HDB hotline and the CSO says everything from windows, doors, tiles, pipes (mostly everything) are covered under 1 year warranty. Any defects can always call the hotline to report and HDB will send someone to fix it. I guess this means that as long as it works, it will not be replaced by HDB. Hope someone with more experience can share with us a clear/definite list of what's covered.
