Wonderful

Hi, just got to know about this forum, and I'm grateful for all the info and resources here. This will be my second home, and will be giving it a complete makeover. Hired an ID for my current place and I was less than satisfied, so will be going ala carte this time round. So now I'm busy sourcing for independent electricians, carpenters, flooring people, etc. hopefully this will be our permanent home, a place filled with love and laughter to bring up children in.

I have this problem too, and confronted the upstairs neighbour about it. Turns out that it is indeed their heavy-footed ways that caused the stomping noise. I can even hear the pots of plants being dragged around on their upper terrace. Nowadays the soundproofing of apartments is horrible, both HDB and pte.
