Hey Neubie, wanna ask you if you know anything about aircons? I tot of having aircons in the 2 BRs.. inverted/non-inverted? Necessary to purchase an non-inverted one if mostly only 1 BR is used at one time. The other one would probably be used on & off..

Sorry guys, I am still v new to this forum so pls pardon me. My ah lao bought this flat like 12 yrs ago & have left it as it is since then. After our wedding & with a small budget set aside for this project, we decided to renovate his humble abode cos' I simply cannot tahan already!! I have been following dexufto & Neubie blogs as they are also from TPY. In fact, my contractor is Alan which has been recommended by Neubie. I would be starting my minor renovation on 5th Nov 2012 (ETC: 8th Dec 2012) so I hope to share my raw experience & hope to get more advice from you veterans in this forum! I don't want to spend too much as our new place is coming in about 1.5yrs time but cos' there is no kitchen in the current place, we need to do some minor reno to it.

Hi! I have the same 3I layout as you, located in TPY as well! Had trouble finding designs for my flat until I saw your thread. Love your idea of keeping the TV in a cabinet cos' of the layout of our bedroom doors which makes the position of placing a TV so limited. May I ask you did you have to sacrifice part of your bedroom for it? Do you also have some pictures of your bedrooms to share?
