  1. I guess more or less the same in terms of pics quality. Anything above 400Hz is good enough. U will only notice the image quality when you place 2 tv side by side to compare. Will u do that at home ? If u just watch a tv, u probably wont notice. image quality is also very much depend on the source i.e. dvds and etc. In terms of sound quality, i think samsung is better. I bought a samsung 42" 6600.
  2. i bought samsung 8kg/5kg wet/dry the one got "Ecobubble" one..

  9. yeh, today's discussion, we hope can be done by Christmas. It's not impossible, but a bit rush. She advised a more comfortable date will be in mid of Jan. I have completed all the wet works including tilings. Now is wiring -> plaster ceiling -> carpentry
  10. when r u expecting to complete? i heard the carpenters are pretty tied up...
  11. aiks, the lady in the photograph looks familiar.... We got the same ID !! haha .. no wonder she is so busy recently.. so you must be one of the customers who keep her busy lol. I just met her this morning to finalize electrical points. Now doing wiring works anyway good luck for your reno and congrats on your newborn!
  12. my ID marked up about 10% to the market rate, which i think is reasonable. I considered that as their reward for coordination, and certain level of responsibility that they have to bear. 40-50% is way to0 exorbitant.
  13. I bought this Samsung Bottom Freezer Refrigerator RL4013UBASL, less than 1000 bucks. Nice capacity for a small family like me (3pax) 4 ticks (digital inverter with 10 years warranty) stylish design door alarm sensor most importantly, affordable price. cant comment on the durability and/or any downside as i have not started using it http://www.samsung.com/sg/consumer/home-appliances/refrigerator/bottom-freezer/RL4013UBASL/SS
  14. My friend told me GR Link is the cheapest. I'm eyeing on a 30/70 1mm stainless steel sink (matt finishes) at $250.00 In forum, most of them advised that Royal Fanco is another good place to get faucets. I have never been there b4. Compare yourself and u'll know.
  15. Thanks carrotcakegirl.. btw there's a very nice carrotcake stall near my house haha.. So far so good on the progress.. Most of the wetworks completed. I think ahead schedule. Next will be wiring and false ceiling... lastly will be carpentry works.. hopefully can be completed before Christmas

  18. Have anyone installed V56VK on a low ceiling (2.5-2.6m)?
  19. Toilet's shampoo/body gel holder... rust free and ever lasting
  20. Most of the wet works have completed... Floor tiles laid.. @ living hall General view of the wet kitchen...cement based had been erected! ID proposed to have a wash area to wash mops and etc.. which i think is a good idea !
  21. carrotcake, yeh, Avalon, although they are not the cheapest in town. I often see people sourcing for the "cheapest" stuff, which to me, is a stressful process. as long as you feel happy and comfortable paying for it , be it cheap or expensive. Hua hi dio ho ! (高兴就好) haha.
  22. carrotcake, i bought mine from JB at RM230.00, excluding bulbs. I upgraded to LED bulbs (3 years warranty), which cost me additional RM150.00. So total is RM380.00 or about S$155.. slightly cheaper la.. haha
