Finally bought sofa today! It's a relief to strike another item off the list Ordered this design in turquoise fabric with light grey piping. Although it doesn't come in wooden legs which I prefer, I love the colour and that the high seat backing, very comfy! Not sure whether to order extra set of cover, which is not cheap, around half the price of our sofa, but I was told by the salesgirl that extra cover usually cost 2/3 the price of the sofa. Is it really true? Also ordered our custom-make vintage teak wood dining table and bench as well as Tv console, these will come in sexy pencil legs

Your MBR is wonderful! Love the combi of colours, very eye catching I also wanna do wire mesh glass one door but not sure where yet. At first thought of doing it at the kitchen island, like a wrap around the island, but one contractor said such glass is not tempered, may have risk of cracking whatsoever when legs hit the island. So may incorporate it as the shoe cabinet door instead.

Yah, I thought so too. But am concerned that memory foam or too soft mattress can be quite warm... Cos i don't on aircon when i sleep, fan only. Oh well... first world pain

Went to look at mattresses today, it's a tiring process. Maybe it's me, but other than those which are immediate "not comfy", I can't tell much differences between various mattresses that felt "so so". Anyone who share the same sentiments? Am a side sleeper so would prefer something that put less strain on my arm when i side sleeep. A sales person recommended me a mattress with memory foam topper. It felt the best among the ones I tried, though it didn't give those hotel bed-like wow feel. It's a malaysia brand and cost around $3k, which is one of the most expensive mattress among this brand!

Thanks May_dream1... cos the contractor didn't change the cost of this part although I requested to change door from glass to plywood laminated...

One contractor stated frosted glass door for kitchen cabinet although I told him I want laminated plywood door instead of glass door, and the price for this remains the same (it's a lump sum together with fabrication of cabinets). Anyone knows if frosted glass door is more expensive compared to laminated plywood door or something?
