can jus go to any sofa makers, and see if their fabric is water repellant. most will be. HF, Acacia (belgium)... some are even fire retardant.

saw a sofa from rozel (toh guan), the clean L shape looking sofa and seatings are with spring, comes with ottoman. price around 1.8k. warranty 3yrs on frame and 1yr overall. manufactured in malaysia. guy willing to change material to better quality ones without top up of $200. but the fabric base of the sofa is not detachable for wash. cushion yes but not the frame i guess. anyone has gotten anything from rozel who can share the review of their quality?

checked out ethnicraft.com.sg but it only has email as form of communication no phone number to call, no address of the warehouse, need to wait for email reply. gosh.... if i've problem with the furniture do i have to email them and wait again? anyone bought their stuff before, any review?

i would love to have a teak tv console to add character to my living area... but the price and wait is really long... anywhere with ready stock?

i think old furnitures are more durable because then they use old age teak wood... now the teak wood seem to be young and cracks easily... that's what the salesman explained why their teak products all changed their table tops to veneer. need to find old teak furnitures but how to check whether they are besides the hefty $$$ price tag?

hi hi, i'm searching for nice wooden teak furnishings and hear horror story from sales guy last night that it cracks in singapore's weather... so they switched to veneer table tops... is it true???? i definitely prefer solid wood side tables/tv console/coffee table compared to plywood or compressed wood... scanteak's furnishing are not all solid wood i hear too... i'm so in a rush. jojo

i'm actually looking at good fans with add on lights bright enough for the living room to read the papers... i hear from the sales that hose cone shaped lights are much brighter than those designs similar to crestar's skylite/rainlite... but they don't look quite amazingly stylish. wanted Vento's Sole... like a sunflower extendable blades for my living room... cause it looks amazing but cost $$$ too... then sales advise that the parts may not be that practical if they stop working and asked to look at those traditional ones. seen almasco, crestar, hear mixed reviews... basically what they sell they promote, what they don't it seems like they have problems or service no good. now kinda confused. any advice on almasco vs crestar? is crestar's aircraft good? may get 4 cone lights add on to Air craft for practical reasons. help help
