  1. Hi Z3phy, Who is this guy? Why did he want to show this to you? How did he open the locked grills and locked windows? Appreciate if you can share. Thank You.
  2. Hi MK, The person who did the Kitchen Cabinet is not Ah Meng. His work is very good and will post the pictures later. This was another carpenter who just does Blum carpentry. His work in general is good but I felt this was just a bad excuse for mistake they made.
  3. Hi jus4fun, Yeah! that was my thinking too. They are the experts and that's we consult them right? Wrong laminate yikes! so did they take it out and put the new one? They did the same for me...if you see the top cabinets, they are glass doors with wood frames. The frame is suppose to be similar color as the laminate below. If you look at the drawing we gave them it shows that as well as we told them a few times but in the end they the frame is in white color. grrr...... When I asked the carpenter, he gave me an excuse that it is because of the glue you cannot use other colors. I know for a certain that I have seen people use different colors for the frame and I even asked another carpenter and he said yeah..no problem using other colors. So you see, they are as usual giving excuses or telling a lie for the mistake they made . If you made a mistake, own it and be responsible for it. sigh
  4. Every series of product from every company will have a couple of defective products. That does not mean that every product from Samsung in that range is bad. I think the issue is more a G.C. issue than anything else. However, I have noticed that Customer Service and support in Singapore in general is pretty bad.
  5. Wahhh.....Bold red curtains !.... similar to ones in my parents place! I like to look of it! You are using the traditional curtain runner railings correct? not that poles type right? Nice soothing curtain choice for your Master bedroom ! very nice! I like soothing colors especially in your bedroom! Ha! I think we have similar taste in terms of appliance...heheheh I also got a Samsung bubble wash front loading washing machine! I don't have a base or a cabinet built for my washing machine, it is in my service balcony as a standalone next to the windows. Post more pictures! =)
  6. Hi MK, So now that your kitchen cabinet is done, what counter-top are you using? I'm waiting to see you Kitchen cabinet with your tiles and all your collections....it would be unique look ...=)

Is there something specific you looking and if I can I will. ;P
  9. Hi retch, Thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated. Yup the design has turned out well and the workmanship is good. I had to follow closely the progress to make sure there were no more hiccups by catching when I see something not right at that spot. They fix it immediately.

  13. My kitchen cabinet was finally completed yesterday. There are still couple of issues with the servo drive they need to resolve which they will come back later to resolve. It is now my turn to look for defects and report to them so that they can fix it. Here are a couple of pictures for a preview, I will post more later when the counter-top is installed. =) Visual drawing of the kitchen cabinet used to communicate to carpenter ( not for dimensions) : Overview of Kitchen cabinet from window side looking into dining / living walkway : Overview of Kitchen cabinet from window side looking into dining / living walkway - 2 :
  14. Hi pinkyceline, Apologises, but sharing my cost would not help you as my requirements and yours are quite different. our needs would be different. =)
  15. Hi jus4fun, The thing is I actually gave my contractor photos along with drawings and then asked them to double check and tell me if there is anything wrong and if there is anything that needs to be changes so tell me so that we can decide on the final set of drawings. I wanted to get their expert opinion and make sure there is no issues , but end up still got issues. After much discussion, they "fixed" the issue, However, the fixing lead to design changes that lead to issues that cannot be fixed. Also, I had bought all the Blum products based on their insistence that I buy 1st, and had to find ways to use the ones I bought and has already been open and thus cannot be returned. All these issues would not have happened if the contractor communicated and provided all the materials to the carpenter . tsk..tsk.
  16. Hi BB 1314, Thank you for the info. much appreciated. =)
  17. Hi MiracleSG, I didn't buy the basic bowl by itself, I bought it as a cabinet set that comes with the stainless Steel cabinet + basic Bowl & faucet Don't know excat size of the bowl, but the cabinet itself is 600mm. Hope this helps
  18. Dennis, You must me the most unlucky person in the world as your appliance keeps on breaking down.....
  19. Hi Mr E, Totally understand your frustration as I am experiencing them myself.
  20. HI MK, Lost Faith? doing the rectifications yourself? Why aren't you getting Alan and their sub-contractors to do it for you? Its part of their responsibility right to get everything fixed before handing over. I msg you also....did you get to read it? Hope everything is ok with you .
  21. HI Anna, Seems like you got the Fujioh Fx 900 and Bosch Oven. Same like me ;p What Hob did you get? Wahhh..... your renovation is pretty fast! I wanted to get similar kitchen faucet, but was thinking due to my many moving parts if it would spoil easily, so I got a normal one. ;P So have you like finalized what counter-top you are going to get? I am waiting for my kitchen cabinet to be completed before I ask them to come for a measurement. Hmm.... your place seems to be filled with multiple colors ...must be a pretty vibrant place! ;P
  22. Oh, I wanted to mention that I bought the cooker hood / hob and oven from Zero and they gave me the best price after calling all retailers from unilite , BKG , mega discount etc...etc...etc... I will certainly recommend them !
  23. HI bb_1314, Mind if I ask, is your cabinet 34 or 35 inches in height including the concrete base? What is the height of the middle and bottom drawers? The height you gave for the top drawer is it the drawer door height or the internal space height? Due to the mistake , I am not able to install I3 with my S1 as the height is small, so gonna move it to my space tower. I think I would only have like 4 inches or 5 at max for the top drawers.
  24. Hi Jus4fun, Yup....yup... was trying to make the decision to do the trunking on top or bottom. Decided to do it at the bottom and also was recommended by the aircon installer, he said in regards to flow its better to do at the bottom. I think once the bed is in majority of the air con trunking will be hidden. If it was on top it would be very visible running like a MRT track. Yeah, the split is for the study room, or else you would see a major mrt line running from master bedroom to study room and by the time it reaches there all the cooling will be gone.....;p Actually the delay is because of me, I had to travel for two weeks for project work so I told the contractor to hold all works until I return back. I just came back on Saturday, so now the work has started again. Even though I told them to halt it , there seems to be some miscommunication and they started on kitchen cabinet and the base and some of the drawers were done wrongly as they were not based on my specs. However, after discussion, they are going to rectify it. I had to make some changes to my design and will know what is the outcome as they are going to start on the rectification tomorrow and I will be there to make sure my design and requirements are understood correctly this time around. They told me the top drawer will be very small so have to see how small it will be . I guess, I am a bit different from most of their clients in that I have very specific requirements on height and design etc... most people who do blum just leave it to the carpenter to decide, so I seem to be causing them a lot of issues....;p
