Also, my shower screen door was up a long time ago except that I have not posted it online the door opens inwards so that it will not "bang" into my toilet...hehe also for the benefit of those who want to know how Mr K cut our doors to fit in the laminates...so far it was done nicely...no extra bits popping out and all, evenly done pardon the colour as Mr K is getting ready the doors to be painted white

Nothing much to update as carpentary will start tomorrow... Double confirm my wall colours with Mr K on Friday and yesterday evening when we went over, the walls are painted just need another coat of paint and it will be perfecto! Heehhe basically I just surfed the net for the colours & codes on Friday afternoon but I didn't expect him to get the colours and painted the wall so fast...heheh Didn't paint the whole room in the chosen colours as I mix them with white walls ...more of a surprise when people come into the house as they would see only white walls at first...then only when they enter will they see the coloured walls...well, at least that's my intention wanted neutral colours only for my house but since my mum loves green and she mite stay in the guest room during the weekends when we shift over, so painted the wall green just for her...hopefully she likes it so now, left the skirtings to be painted black and the doors to be painted white...

so far not disappointed at all very excited to see your photos... u finished ur payment already...mine left 5% only... ooooh u hv d cow hide...my husband really wanted one but I could not imagine it, thus abit of hesitation on my part...but seeing how it looks like at ur place not bad leh...heeheh shall not hesitate to purchase it but it shall b in black though =) hehee k nite2...

Apparently he has been doing it all the time and so far so good For the kitchen, the cement screed really stick well on the existing tiles and Mr K will be doing another touch up for it Maybe they both are from different school of thoughts i guess... Hi octavia, nice meeting you here... actually we wanted to do ash grey concept for our laminates but the tile that Mr K has selected for us, don't have in the ash grey shade He actually gave us one tile for us to choose the laminates from. Maybe the fact that he knows I might be fickle-minded, that's y We only used the tiles for our toilets area as we are afraid that the constant "splashing" of water might spoil the laminates in the future. If you want, maybe you can find your own ash grey tile from hafary (that seemed to be the popular place for tiles in this forum ) Hope it helps...would love to see your place with the ash grey shade Regards, art00609

Not much updates for reno as just waiting for carpentary to start... So, while waiting, saw a post from a fellow renotalk user regarding francfranc having a 15% for mastercard members for this month so went to francfranc today to grab my sofa set (as it was not having any discount for it for GSS ) apparently, much to my hubby's annoyance , I decided to get a tv console & a stool too...luckily managed to get the colour that I wanted but have to wait for the one and only remaining piece as they are no longer making that particular design anymore as it was the past season. Hopefully it would be worth it lah but I think Mr K will definitely shake his head as he informed me to get a tv console of height 55cm to cover the wall socket plugs of my brick wall but this tv console only has a height of 30cm so I guess, I gotta "cover" the wall sockets with paintings/pictures/ornaments instead...ehhehe shall figure that out later tomorrow shall meet Mr K to discuss further...ehhehe hopefully he will not shake his head
