Homo Tiles - Front Kerb - Need To Drill This Hole?
applefreak replied to mint's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
my new place no bottom hole for both gate and door find that it really doesn't add much to the security coz the bottom hole is for the smaller piece of door / gate to plug into but thieves will be more interested in the bigger piece anyway -
thank you thank you this is about the only car that suits our needs and yet we like the looks !!

Rental Is Taxable?
applefreak replied to raincole's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
not only do you have to pay income tax on rental if the whole unit is rented out you'll pay 10% property tax instead of 4% (owner occupied concession) -
Stainless Steel Shower Racks And Dish Racks
applefreak replied to tazzie58's topic in Home Maintenance & Repairs
you can consider the grundtal shelf which is stainless steel. can't seem to find the glass shelf i was referring to at the ikea website. will go back and take a pix of it. -
hmm guess i have unreasonable expectation? coz we getting around 9km/litre on a 2.5 auto car so i was thinking fc should improve as the cc decreases but seems like not that much
-
heard from friends who drive getz, they can only get around 13km/litre maybe their foot very heavy but that's quite bad considering the cc of the getz
-
not to mention that it's a little dangerous with the base protruding out, very easy to kick one's toe on it come to think of it, my old place (almost 30yrs old) also dun have washer/fridge base but we still wash the floor leh no problem at all
-
think the only thing i can share is this i've always liked purple and red but it's only recently that i come to know that these are my 'good' colours was advised that subconciously i know i lack fire, so will always go for this kind of colours

one of the benefits of continental cars are the safety feature i'm fortunate enough to have sat in most, and driven quite a few different ones i'd say continental cars win hands down when it comes to stability and safety but japanese cars win when it comes to FC, handling and 'fuss-freeness' city driving, definitely japanese cars but highway, esp high-speed, continental cars are good korean cars are for me
-
ironically the poor can only afford asian cars while the rich goes for continental cars

wah you got quite a number of pets leh

Stainless Steel Shower Racks And Dish Racks
applefreak replied to tazzie58's topic in Home Maintenance & Repairs
i'm using grab bars as towel rods two bird in one stone - can hang towel and offer support for elderly as for corner rack, i got the ikea one which is quite big but since it's glass and aluminium, no fear of rust -
me have no base for both washer and fridge coz most actually come with 'legs' so base is redundant i don't really like restrictions so the freedom to re-configure my home is a plus i.e. change position of washer/fridge

actually cash converter really dun offer a lot leh sell over the net can easily double the offer of cash converter

Seal Those Little Gaps Between Wall N Casings
applefreak replied to mint's topic in RENOVATION WORKS
usually the painter will seal with putty (i think) before painting to achieve a seamless look
