  7. from what i gather, quartz countertop is a man-made top using natural quartz stone it's like the 'granite' sinks on the market, where 80% of the material consist of granite quartz is a natural stone which is as hard, if not harder than, as granite saw samples at earnest interior but it's at $140psf

  18. the cut-out is actually the size of the bottom of the stove different stove comes with different cut-out size ideally, the cut-out of the support should fit the stove cut-out nicely i.e. the stove cannot shift at all but allowance is usually given, around 1cm each side for concrete support, what's done cannot be undone and the only way to rectify is to build from scratch again
