The Ceiling Fan Debate
applefreak replied to reload72's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
my living and dining room is in a L-shape living being the longer part of the L i have a 60" fan in the middle of my living, and a 48" fan with lights for my dining hope these info will help you make your decision -
wah like that can buy $400+ :jawdrop: you good leh you :good: really is the master of BUY BUY BUY
-
i asked my contractor but he say cannot thought there's something that can attach onto the light kit to control the circuit
-
think will put in the living room coz that's where we spend most of our time likely to be against the long wall near to the balcony if not then it'll be in my room, so that all my cats will be with me when i sleep wah monthly $448, 10yr loan is it? but but but, it's really nice and fuel efficient wor :deal:
-
hi mist, so did you do anything with the tiles? show pix leh
-
mine is 262cm high, and no false ceiling as well but thing to note is the proximity of the fan to the lights if the blade gets in the way of the lights (range), there will be flickering shawdows which is both irritating and bad for eyes if the room is not long enough, better to get fans with light kit
-
hi can take pix of the TAKE lamps? me always mesmerised by kartell's beauty noticed you've got the cat on your bed really like their products but can't bear to pay for them the cat must have cost you like $80?
-
the cat tree cost $400, almost half the price of what PLC is selling for a smaller one but no need to maintain lah, think the most only change the worn-out parts a few years down the road nia :bleah: btw summer, what are you feeding your cats? better to find those food that the first ingredient is meat, not rice/corn/meal/by-product although they cost more, it's better for their health leh poor didi, how about you arrange one fine day we all go visit your place and didi? yo deathcoth, what did you buy at robinsons? john little sale also coming leh, you going to BUY BUY BUY some more? there got A LOT of kiddy stuff val, must let deathcoth know we not rich gals mah if not no need to count count count then buy where it's cheaper right? just go to SG boutique and buy can liao phoenix, not my cats ho-miah leh, is me ho-miah to have them think only pet 'owners' can understand the joy they give and parents might be offended if i say it's akin to having your child sitting at the door waiting for your return they really helped me through the darkest moments of my life and brightens up my days i'm really blessed to have them :bleah:
-
hehehe, i'm starting to sound like a naggy old woman maybe you want to consider going through deco magazines yourself, grab ideas from here and the internet, consolidate them and see how you want your home to look like then look for a main contractor to do everything for you the only difference is ID gives you the 3D perspective but a main contractor does no drawings by doing all these, you can save about 10% of the reno cost
-
hi not sure if the ceiling height is about the same for most new flat i've got a 60" ceiling fan for my living room i'd say it's a good investment coz we are all enjoying the fan
-

-

Can I Cut My Agent Commission? Need Help!
applefreak replied to gingerbread82's topic in Rent/Sell Properties
hope that TS managed to resolve the issue liao actually, find that don't need agent to handle the transaction at all unless you are talking about selling a not-so-good unit during bad times now it's a property boom and i'm sure there'll be lots of people wanting to buy a unit you just need to fork out the $30+ to put up a 3-liner in the newspaper and answer enquiry calls yourself the paperwork are so simplified that most of us can do it easily -
really really like your doggy light btw, the shop that you said you got your light from, is it at siam discovery 4th flr? thanks
-
