  2. then how about 17 feb, anyone cannot make it? val still have not reported in yet leh, thought she coming back today today was a busy day for me went for the puma and bengawan solo warehouse sale bought a pair of shoes and a lot of kueys from bengawan solo reached home and the cat tree was delivered the guys were really great, they actually assembled the thing first and disassembled for transportation so that they won't take up too much of my time time for some pix, been lazy lately so take longer than expected to upload the pix of my new living arrangement first, the cat tree. i really like it very much but think my babies need a few days to check it out :good: after the cat tree was fixed, went down to compassvale lane to pick up a ikea detolf glass cabinet, paid $30 for it my hello kittys finally have a place of their own the new look living room what you'll see from the main door the tv on the mango wood console the great divide between the 'entertainment' area and the 'recreation' area the divider that demarcates the 'entertainment', 'recreation' and dining area
  3. actually find that your layout is quite good coz your dining table can be between the HHS and BR3 also, there's no strange beams in any of the rooms :good: wet kitchen is for cooking and washing dry kitchen more like a pantry i LOVE big kitchens but my kitchen is really small
  4. it's the same as flat panel tv if you can't tell the difference anyway, go for the cheapest if you ask me, the best is of course the one-head abalone :good:

  12. if solid teak quite worth the price personally won't go for non-solid wood furniture coz they are more fragile and prone to scratches also, got to be careful coz the sides will peel and if kenna water the piece of furniture is finished !!

  14. hi all, can ask if PSP-2000 SLIM with sony 8GB pro duo card and PSP crystal case at $518 is expensive? saw this and was wondering if it's worth it
  15. looks nice, but depends on the material bah if it's solid teak should be quite worth, if it's teak veneer then $200 also too much liao
  16. wah the leksvik series things all not cheap but of course it's solid wood so quite worth the price but ikea ones are quite small right, as in not so wide !!
  17. what i did for the official move-in is 1. pick a good date and time 2. switch on all the lights for 3 nights before the actual day 3. bring your personal belongings i.e. bowls, chopsticks, toothbrush with you on the day and carry them 4. head of the family (which in my case was me ) to enter the unit first and loudly declare that 'i am officially the owner of this place' 5. proceed to switch on all taps and burners 6. cook something sweet for the whole family to eat (outsiders not supposed to partake) also, everyone must carry something as no one should be empty handed i also brought along a piece of charcoal wrapped in red paper, a packet of rice and a box of dollar notes very pantang hor !!

  19. eh don't recall ever seeing such a place in singapore wor think you'll have better luck online most of the shopping malls i've seen only one or two clock shops scattered around maybe you want to check out the shop that MaCe bought his clock, supposedly will bring in the design you want for you the shop's located at central @ clarke quay, second level !!
  20. think your's is still not so bad coz the other side of the fridge is empty, so the heat can still disperse but but but, that's a very BIG modification leh my kitchen cabinet is 10ft - 3ft sink, 3ft hob and the rest worktop it's still way to short liao this is how it looks like, the 10ft is excluding the fridge area http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?au...;showentry=3372

  23. i got mine at home-fix ikea, 5% off with ikea friend's card heard from skywolf that there's a promotion of 10% discount now, but without installation if you are into DIY, can just buy and install yourself, no need to pay the installation fee of $40 looks easy to do, maybe i'll try to DIY next time only thing is the adapters, a track comes with 3 of it each extra one will cost an additional $30+
