  2. i'm quite sure you'll find it useful better have it and not need it then need it and not have it
  3. care to share where exactly is teakland gallery? is it the one along upper serangoon road near the vegetarian restaurant?
  4. erm not really expensive paid around $190 for three starters and two main course with a bottle of still water didn't have any drinks coz find it's really not worth it paying singapore price over there it's quite worth it coz the view is really good remember to walk around the sky bar, the glass railing makes the view exceptionally (at least for me) nice leh, the colour is so bright makes me happy just looking at it hmm i think it's brownmouse? i also can't recall leh btw you getting the normal one or the stainless steel one? how much they charge for the kitchen and the length?
  5. pix pix :bangwall: wanted to check with you, for the teak wood places you've mentioned did you happen to see any chest of drawers? am looking for a chest of drawers but just can't seem to find something reasonably priced and of a certain quality
  6. check out val's laminates for her shoe cabinets it's similar to what deathcoth is using for his kitchen cabinets was tempted to use it for my wardrobe but didn't in the end after seeing it at val's place really regret lor 8|
  7. hi Ptro, i can't seem to find anything on the web as well but i remember reading somewhere that GRUNDTAL is 18/8 that is the main reason why i decided on the GRUNDTAL shelves for my kitchen maybe you can check with the sales staff at ikea if you happen to be there
  8. wow that's really cheap, even cheaper than my table and chairs good buy
  9. i think hdb changed their ruling sometime in jul 07 all windows forming the external facade of the block MUST be the same as the rest of the block so if the block comes with blue framed windows with blue tinted glass, then any windows facing out will have to be the same
  10. yuki is such a nice name, suits her very well maybe you want to help her associate herself with her name when giving her treats or playing with her, just keep calling her name so that she'll associate such pleasant sensations with her name
  11. wah bunbun we've got similar taste leh our kitchens are without top cabinets, white cabinets with dark colour countertop and we are both using the grundtal shelves and we are using ho bee too
  12. erm 55cm depth is very very deep leh your family members all quite tall i gather? standard bowls are around 18 - 20cm deep only why do you need such a deep bowl??? but the size of the bowl is good, wish i have space for such a sink
  13. and pics of the swee swee swivel tv feature wall and the laminates... still cannot get over why i didn't choose it
  14. yup have to agree that renotalk can be very slow at times but think it's easier for renotalkers like me to follow the process btw, love the way you 'carve' out a storeroom looks very nice and yet totally functional
  15. don't think i can take it for any flights for more than 2hrs will be going to guangzhou soon but DEFINITELY will not take tiger i'd rather pay for SQ to be comfortable during the 4hrs
  16. no wonder he looks kinda crossed but still very cute leh
  17. post some pix from your blog here for lazy people like me who prefer to see the pix here hope you don't mind *edit - pix removed since it's posted by the t-blog owner
  18. oh dear so sorry to hear that hope things are better now donut looks slightly pissed in the last pix? did you deny him of his treats?
  19. i've only taken budget air to bangkok, and tiger didn't give me a good experience so jetstar seem to be the de facto choice other than that, i'd rather pay full price to any other destinations coz of the longer hours spent on the plane leg room is a big factor for me since i've got to sit upright all the way, with my knees pushing against the front seat it's still not so bad for 2 hours, but i think my back will break for any flight longer
  20. ya hor, how come val's t-blog missing???
  21. he don't go better right, you can buy whichever that catches your eyes sometimes it's easier when only one person is making the decisions
  22. hmm this contractor seems to be pulling a fast one won't say $450 is exorbitant but it's certainly above market rate for the things quoted it's just called a concrete sink support but do bear in mind that he might ask for top up again as it's more expensive to construct a concrete sink support compared to a normal kitchen cabinet
