personally it's a case of 'rather believe than to disregard' ning ke xin qi you bu ke xin qi wu if it's just not smooth still not so bad, but it's bad for your hubby so a bit jialat loh you also don't want to shift into a place and feel bad about it all the time right? just one year won't make a lot of difference lah most to most when pple ask just say 'renovating' loh my friend got his flat in 2006, still not renovated yet son also born liao

the hush puppies dog is a hound right? remember a trivia about the dog - the original pix dog has the longest ears for the particular breed until he became old, then his grandson overtook him and took the title for the longest ears hmm, my friends' shih tzu all not friendly one leh got one friend's lagi worst, she and hubby stay together but her dog only eats the food prepared by her if she not around and the hubby prepare the food, her dog will just turn up her nose and walk away !!

sigh, they took a long long time just to rectify my windows and floor tiles defects then i cannot tahan so i ask them to hold and let me renovate first in jul 07 shifted in sep 07 then my TO MIA for 2mths, that's why took so long !!

GIANT kitchen!! you can actually ask the air-con installer to run the pipe to the floor trap at the balcony not possible to drill the pipe coz it's a drainage pipe where water from upstairs flows through any leakage and there'll be a big problem !! btw, PE got bulk purchase one or not? thinking of getting one to certify the beam in my living room too

but hor, donut is the only friendly shih tzu i've ever met leh used to frequent pet safari at simei and all the shih tzu there super unfriendly one all display the typical one-owner character - sweet and coy to the owner but snapping at everyone else

in case anyone is going to 'e'llumination at jln besar plaza (the building with hoe kee) remember to bargain real hard was there and they quoted me the fanco aroma at $450, managed to get it down the road at $250 :(

don't know leh, open door that day test got water and electricity think the previous month hdb was doing some rectification works at my unit i.e. changed all the taps didn't apply utilities until my own renovation starts if i got to pay for the water and electricity used by HDB for rectification, think i would have blew my top liao just last week they came by to change a few bathroom tiles that were chipped 3 more days to a year since i've gotten my keys

whew, luckily you changed your mind before they deliver the tiles seeing your tiles makes me want to renovate again :(

why don't you share your quote here? maybe we can help see if anything is missed out coz honest contractors will actually point out what you have missed out so that there's no hidden cost

yup think my next place i'll do the painting myself the only reason why i didn't do the painting myself this time is the daunting task of painting the ceiling i can foresee weeks of sore neck if i had painted the ceiling

yup I was quite pissed by the long time they took to do rectifications and it doesn't help that our S&CC is the most expensive in singapore :dancingqueen: so i shot an email to TC, and cc my MPs they routed the email to HDB and my TO offered to claim my S&CC from the contractors if I can show that the delay is caused by them since i've handed my keys to HDB, there's no reason how i can cause the delay right? but in the end i didn't claim coz they were doing my floor tiles i was a little worried that they might hide something underneath, and the contractor did do his part by checking the floors tiles again after they were laid so i just paid 6mths of S&CC for the rectification works loh heng i didn't open the utilities a/c, if not lagi

think oreo pee out of fear rather than rebellion he is still considered puppy right? so bladder control not so good my friend's westie always pee a little (when she was a puppy) when she sees me, too excited liao :dancingqueen:

think the typical shi tzu look is too hot for singapore liao lah i prefer the short hair look coz he looked so cool and happy
