What The Different Between All Water Heater?
applefreak replied to big orange's topic in Electronics & Electricals
yes it's exposed to sunlight, but it's too far from the windows to get splashed by the rain yup the water heater is installed in the service yard, so only the hot water pipes are ran to the bathrooms check out my blog for pix of my bathroom http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?au...284&cat=212 the gas water heater is activated by the water flow so when i switched on the hot water tap in either bathrooms or the kitchen sink, the gas heater will be switched on -
we can try by all means can confirm me but my bf KIV if he want to join us will ask him to buy his own tickets  as for the hotel, if all agreeable to a price and the area we can try to book the hotel room but think the later the better
-
yah they are flying off soon, or fly off already? think $40 a bit difficult given that we would want to stay at siam square area but think $70 for a 4* might be worth a try
-
oops i think i type one less word, it's gas water heater basically it's a water heater but power by gas instead of electricity for gas appliances, the gas pipe got to be ran to the appliance so to mount the dryer in the service yard, the gas pipe got to run into the service yard

hehehe, me shifting with my whole family mah you are building a new nest, of course got more things to buy (more sticks to find)

for my case no, as my blades are wooden colour and the clips are dark colour as well also, when my fan is switched on (whenever we are in that particular room), it's a whirr and no one can see liao

priceline one is the bidding system basically you choose the area you want, the 'star level' and the price you want to pay if they can find one fitting all the requirements they'll go ahead and book for bkk they have three areas - Riverside (Silom), Siam Square and Sukhumvit e.g. your requirements are Siam Square, 4 star and $60 if they can find they'll book immediately, if not they'll ask you to increase your 'bid price' only thing no good is you can choose the hotel that means you state your requirements and provide billing details they find, book and charge before letting you know which hotel cheapest i know is someone from HWZ securing a 5* hotel at riverside for a mere $40 the priceline map * - Note: Due to scale, certain zones from the above list may not appear on map

for floor tiles, think you'd be hard pressed to find anything lower than $2++psf most of the more popular ones are around $3++psf for $2++, think you can only choose those matt, 60 x 60 and without protective coat copper vs stainless steel, i went for copper as the material have no bearing on the water quality however, steel is harder thus more difficult to bend around the corner given a less skilled plumber, you'll face leakage problems in the future and yes there are grades to stainless steel i believe the usual is 18/8 (304) which is used for pipes, toilet accessories etc 18/10 (316) is a higher grade but will set you back maybe double the cost rewiring a 10yr old flat is really optional if you are a heavy user i.e. LOTS of appliances switched on together, it's better to rewire as the loading might further shorten the life span of the wires personally i'd go for hacking instead of overlaying esp since you don't know who laid the tiles before and what is the workmanship like ceramic tiles are known to pop after 20 years, i've experienced it first-hand as for laminate, it's really a personal choice so far the brands in the market are more or less the same the difference is only the colours available and the workmanship of the workers

wah envy envy, your husband is love the bathtub

had a friend who got their aircon installed by them so far no complaints btw it's not carrefour but 3rd party who are selling in carrefour good thing is the 5% rebate if you use the everyday card
-
hehehe, you say until like i very bad like that but i really really like the wall very much  looks aside, it seems like the main source of light for your service yard is through that wall from your pix maybe that's why hdb made 'holes' on that wall?

What The Different Between All Water Heater?
applefreak replied to big orange's topic in Electronics & Electricals
actually there's basically two types of water heater 1. instant (means the water becomes hot several moments after you turn on the tap) 2. storage (means you got to switch it on about 10min before you shower) you can either choose one powered by electricity or gas but due to the numerous restrictions by hdb, only a few models of gas heaters are allowed in hdb flats anything bigger than 10l are not allowed to be installed in hdb flats gas is supposed to be cheaper than electricity for what you want, you can go for either an electrical storage heater or a gas instant heater electrical instant heater is out as the water is simply not hot enough i'm using an instant gas heater which is installed at my service yard it supplies hot water to my two bathrooms and kitchen sink all using a mixer so you can have hot/cold/warm water depending on how you turn the tap -
here's mine

wow you do have some knowledge about mechanism i only learnt about the balancing part coz the tai yong uncle taught me the balancing is done by adding weights, clipped to the blades as the installer test the fan my installer first installed the fan, switched it on and then do the balancing he test until there's no 'abnormal' sound then he declare installation done paiseh, the balancing was done by my installer so i'm not sure if you can find someone to do the balancing
