  1. he does his part by disturbing my mother whenever i nag nag nag she don't want to wake up i'll bring baobei and ask him to go disturb her
  2. no she is not on blood thinning medication the high cholesterol is not chronic, as in it'll be high when she over indulged but generally within range her heart is okay coz had it checked quite a few times liao ECG, EEG everything okay guess i'll just keep barking at her to eat maybe i can communicate better with yuki and donut next time
  3. nope, you don't need 2 owners as long as you can form a family nucleus with your occupiers can liao husband / wife can buy a flat with the spouse as occupier child can buy a flat with parents as occupier that solves the whole issue of ownership however, do note that the person must be listed as the lessee if his/her cpf is to be used
  4. i like your shoe cabinet's laminate very nice
  5. hehehe me quite busy recently so a bit slacking on the spamming looks like most stuff are done any handover date given?
  6. only saw one question in your first post anyway, the two ownership is different and caters to different people that's why there's 2 types instead of one :bangwall: there is no better type coz it's basically different it depends on what are your needs if you want to will your share of the flat/house/apartment away then tenancy in common is the way to go if you don't want anyone to fight over your share then go for joint tenancy this one cannot fight in court one if really have to pick the best then sole ownership will be the way to go
  7. spam chop btw, 800x800 is more expensive than 600x600 coz the tile price is psf so if it cost $2.60psf for 600, then it'll cost $2,600 to cover 1000sqf similar, it'll cost $3,200 to cover 100sqf if the 800 cost $3.20 psf i'm using 800 at home and it's really much nicer than 600, less lines too
  8. the explanation says it all doesn't it? which part do you not understand???
  9. guess it's a process the lucky ones will have to go through some are not lucky enough to grow old for me it's really a balance of being healthy and enjoying life it's not worth it to enjoy life at the expense of health but it's also not worth it to be health at the expense of life's enjoyment it's like a piece of cake, you can slowly take bites or you can gulp it down in one mouth
  10. thought DM II cannot recover one? you mean your MIL is off med liao? actually my mum lost her appetite mainly due to the infected wound on her arm just went to the hospital again yesterday coz her wound is not recovering at all she fell down when she was in penang and i think the doc there is not very good lah the pain in her arm cause her to lose appetite then she sensitive to penicillin which means she can't take normal antibiotics got the prescription from the doc yesterday but the pharmacy was closed my dad went to the polyclinic just now and they want to charge $80+ for it he went back to CGH and it only cost $11+ :furious: as for my mum, she just need someone to be fierce to her my dad couldn't bear to scold her so she won't eat i got to sit down next to her and basically bark at her to eat
  11. you all should see the look on her face when the nurse prick her fingers to test her bloo sugar she finds that EXTREMELY painful so i think she won't even let me near with that thing well my mum has got DM II for the longest time she lost 2 of her sisters to it it's just that she was too lazy to eat that lands her in the hospital surprise right? there's actually someone who is so lazy until don't eat :bangwall: i'll try the above methods hopefully she'll recover soon
  12. check out rhoyxon (did i get the spelling correct? ) they have some pretty nice ones
  13. one thing about bags don't think your missus want to squash her bags so if you cater one row of shelves, she might only put one bag per shelf coz can't reach those behind think you can either go for drawers, or shelves on both sides i.e. 30cm shelf inside cabinet and 30cm shelf on door
  14. think you got to decide how much space to allocate for all the stuff you have for me, my wardrobe is 6ft and they are divided into 1. 2ft of full height hanging for my dresses (bottom one shelf) 2. 4ft of half height hanging for my tops, bottom half 2ft of 4 drawers and the other 2ft is for hanging pants the inside of my wardrobe at http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?au...;showentry=3356 and http://www.renotalk.com/forum/index.php?au...;showentry=3348
  15. yes she is particular actually her diet is pretty much under control just that sometimes she doesn't want to eat, causing her blood sugar level to drop yesterday had to force-feed her with sugar water coz she started to tremble again
  16. oh i know what you are referring to liao i've got it at home but it's FOC from my contractor so i don't know where he got it from like this right? think most of the kitchen accessories shops will sell it
  17. normal bottom is 2ft which is roughly 60cm if your top cabinet is any wider, the risk of hitting your head becomes much higher
  18. paiseh paiseh i blur liao but don't buy from apple i paid less than $400 for the applecare for my MBP i'll check then get back to you
  19. drawer as in the normal drawer? or a larder like thing?
  20. how much did you spend on your renovation? how often do you foresee yourself lazing in the sofa? if you spent a bomb on your renovation, you certainly don't want the sofa to spoil the entire look if both of you working, reach home rather late and usually retire to the bedroom soon, no point going for comfort if you are like me, spent minimum on reno and uses the sofa a lot go for the comfort bottom line, check out your needs and base your decision on it you won't want to be greeted with an eye sore when you open the door you also don't want to sit on something uncomfortable for hours on end
