  1. i got my air-con from them more than a year ago thankfully my experience was not too bad things to note 1. must be VERY firm with the customer service when it comes to making appt for installation 2. call to confirm the appt one day before to prevent any miscommunication or forgetfulness of the CSO 3. i bought the workers lunch and was around throughout the whole installation 4. check their handiwork before letting them go. the workers chipped my service yard wall. heng my painter was around and he told them to fix it before leaving a week after installation, we found that the air-con wasn't cool so we called and they promptly came down to 'refill' the gas...

  5. hi aubrey, the edges are up to you you can choose either rounded or flat, i chose rounded the price will include the profile, the cut out and the 2" backsplash to protect the wall tiles
  6. oh dear seems like you've had a really bad experience with them mine is good, as solid as new even though we've moved in more than a year... even the big drawers directly under the stove for the pots are doing well
  7. yah that's the first thing that comes to my mind when you mentioned your difficulty in placing the tv console as for ah soon, i believe he does the coordination for you too so the only different between him (main contractor) and ID is the 3D pictures of course cost is a plus point
  8. hmm this is a bit confusing it's plywood but most will quote as 'solid plywood' it's suppose to be thicker than normal plywood think it's around 10mm or 15mm thick compared to the 5mm of plywood

  14. yes me using granite for my kitchen cabinet and sink area there is joint line but my contractor 'hide' it under my hob so not very visible as for the chopping heavily part, not too sure coz the heaviest chopping we did was chop chicken (bones and all) and some pounding using those granite thing when my unit was still under renovation, i always sit on the countertop also

  18. that time the cheapest i managed to source is from stiles, a shop at changi south area they charge separately for the granite, the cut out and installation per cut out is $100, installation is around $250 and granite is pfr so pfr price should be around $55 coz in the end it's the same as my contractor charge me - $1k for 10ft but if you do longer than more worth liao

  20. how much is this cabinet you are looking at? i know ikea's solid wood range is pretty expensive for the same price, you can get teak furniture from wihardja or even scanteak

  23. just fyi on the cost of granite countertop if you have a long top i.e. 15ft or more you can go to the suppliers directly it's cheaper than what ID/contractor quotes
  24. spam chop really really love your layout very big for a 5-rm, bigger than some of the newer EAs
  25. it's actually at the same soi (street) it's just nearer inside the lane in fact, it's a few doors away from the hotel we last stayed
