actually the grilles cost $2.3k, the windows alone cost $1.4k come to think of it, the windows very expensive leh... got pix of your grilles? looking for something that any gap is not bigger than 3", yours like that? going for wrought iron not for the design but it's about the only thing that offers me gaps less than 3" let me guess, the one in the middle is the queen? all neutered liao or not? mine all neutered liao but still territorial leh, all want to fight for bigger space so getting a new place is partly for them too

MaCe, where did you get the grilles? me cannot find those with small enough gaps met with the grile contractor just now customised wrought iron grilles for all windows except toilets and aluminium windows for yard & balcony will cost me a whopping $3.7k now thinking should take it and stop the search or continue searching photo time laying in progress close up shot of the tiles from dining even closer shot

umm, the tiles we were looking at were 600 x 600 hm tiles those on the wall, on sliding mechanism side ones (matt/rough surface) but i believe the discount applies to all just have to bargain hard

tomorrow meeting the contractor also dun have alumesh but he say can custom wrought iron ones, just dunno how much since alumesh will cost close to $2k anyway, will see how much he quote loh die die must have, custom make also no choice actually we checked out the area before committing to this unit met my next next door neighbour and had a good chat with her so i already know got friendly neighbour then last sat went down met my next door neighbour. she was very nice and kept inviting us to her place next time. these two neighbours door usually partly open, so good for me immediately from the lift got a family with dog but will only bark at strangers so it's like many obstacles for bad pple !!

actually hafary give a straight 20% off the price on the tile for walk-ins just have to tell the salesperson that you are buying yourself, not ask contractor come down and buy. was there the other day, one guy came down to buy one piece, also get 20% just be sure to bargain and tell them you are buying yourself coz they usually gives kickbacks to contractors/ID. got my tiles from Hup Kiong, a whopping $0.90 of the price of $3.2 for 800 x 800 porcelain tiles. btw, that's the name for homo tiles coz it's homogenous throughout thus the name...

looking at the way her parents treat her A can be the one who mistreats her and her parents will still say it's her fault and she deserves it guess we are all brought up differently i will never stand for this to happen was in a similar situation when i broke off with my ex-fiance he drank and leave voice msg in the middle of the night, called my parents and all my friends to ask them help him blah blah blah thankfully my parents and friends are very supportive they only ask if this is really what i want and have i really thought through everything when i told them yes, they just left the matter... i can only say this - this is your life. nobody should, and nobody is in any position, to tell you how to live it. if marrying A is the only way to appease your parent, you must then weigh how important this is to you. if you value their approval MORE than your own happiness, then you will get it by marrying A. it all depends on what you want... ultimately, you cannot please EVERYONE. who is most important to you? yourself or those who dun care a bit about your happiness???
