hehehe, just trying to be sure i understand the situation mah the calculation is for myself lah, no need to force yourself to understand it me also facing the same problem as predaking as such cannot have sliding doors for my BIW
-
can one lah, ask your ID that you want a double-bowl sink and ask him to do the thinking for you that's why you paid more for an ID mah, to do the thinking since that area is used specifically for the sink, dun see why can't fit it in
-
hehehe, won't be so fast leh hopefully can start renovation in the next two weeks and move in before 13 Aug after settle down then got time to DIY... meantime i'll just satisfy myself by over yours and mist's

concrete support need more space coz the side walls are built with hollow bricks 63mm wide cabinet wall will be thinner then you got more space to play around liao leh can really get the double-bowl if you dun mind a little squeezy on the left when you wash shouldn't be a problem if you are not left-handed
-
hmm, so the wall for sink and wm is 1.35 in total right? if machine take 58cm, sink support (i assume is the concrete one) will be only 77cm wide take away the edge of the support, that leaves you around 67cm for the sink bowl think you need to take the exact dimensions of the sink i.e. cutout so that you can mak the decision if can squeeze in the sink dun think elbow space is a problem bah the sink is 60cm away from the wall liao, and the side on wm confirm no problem so just stand away from the wall when you wash? better get the one your heart desires, esp so if your is a concrete support coz changing means hacking the whole thing...

thanks so much for the advice initially i have no intention whatsoever to DIY anything but looking at the way you do up your place, makes me really 'heart itchy' loh

chicken fats are just those yellow yellow things under the skin can fry them like you do pork lard no oil, put the chicken fats in to get the oil then fry washed rice in the oil the rice must not be cooked we all start off like this mah, no questions means totally dun understands liao -
hehehe, me just very ngiao so will find means and ways to get the best deal this one i trawl the yahoo auction site really need a lot of patience coz think out of 3hrs spent, can only find one or two good deals. and not all will go through coz of various reasons e.g. no meetups or seller back out but this guy is good coz he is dealing in this kind of things so maybe next time can get the glass shelf, towel hanger etc at a low price

actually i dun mind older children who are quiet and well-behaved but with the westernisation of singapore's educational system, i really fear that it's becoming a dying breed i have kiasu friends who send their infants for prep-course that parents attend as well to me i'll feel that i owe the child if he/she can't succeed in the future coz i really dun believe in this kind of things how many of us go for infant prep-course or montesory kindergarten? we turned out well didn't we? well, it's a very personal choice some will feel a rush of maternal care when they hear a baby cry me? i'll cringe in fear maybe i sound crazy, but me and my babies do communicate leh they'll let me know when they want treats, when they want sayang, when they want to play most importantly, i can tell them things and be assured that no one will ever know my secrets sometimes i just need to vent but dun want to give anyone any funny impressions so they are my best listeners they'll look at me with they big big eyes like saying 'oh poor mummy, must be really hard on you'
-
wow that's very nice makes me wanna do something like that too btw, would you have any idea where i can frame up bowls? also, how much it might cost? saw some very chinese bowls and thinking of framing them up to decorate my study

totally agree with you about seeing eye-to-eye sometimes love is about compromise loh i got very weird ideas one lah i believe couples break up only due to one reason - they didn't love each other enough if she had loved him enough, she would give up having children but she didn't coz she love herself more, having children means more to her than the bf if he loved her enough, he would give in and agree to having children but he didn't coz he love himself more, so dun want to compromise on this i had an acquaintance who loved her husband very much she 'hated' children but gave in and give birth coz he really wanted it so much so now she will linger outside after work coz she dun want to go back and see the baby. to her the baby is more like a gift to the husband shocking but true my pets give me unconditional love they only demand for affection in return, but it doesn't matter when i give it they won't ask for toys. i give they happy, i dun give they won't throw tantrum they won't ask for expensive food, as long as i provide enough to keep them well it's more than enough they won't ask for money because it means nothing to them they won't ask 'how come mummy you cannot bring me go disneyland holiday? all my classmates going leh.' personal feel on this matter

so far the developments i checked out is fake showrooms coz the developers will sell the units first then take the money and build the project it's a cash-flow thing... unlikely to move the showroom items into a real unit bah who would want to take it? wait the develop kenna sue how techinically speaking, the items are not 'brand new' loh this kind of things singapore businessmen all very kiasu kiasi one so benefit pple like me loh
-
guess it's the 'unconditional love' thing last time still entertain thoughts of having a 'mini-me' then when i have pets, i realised that my pets will love me no matter what loh but children i see on the streets only know how to say 'i want' 'i want' 'i want' it didn't help when i happen to see all the really bad cases e.g. riding on the bus a few years ago, a child was running up and down the aisle screaming. everyone was staring at the mother so she shouted at the child 'come here and sit down, if not go home then you know'. you know what the child did? he walked up to the mother and said smugly ' YOU go home then you know'. i was like the mother was so embarrassed but did nothing else loh

actually i find that gahment is already earning big bucks from building hdb flats liao can you imagine this - free land, cheap labour and still sell so expensive they include the cost of the land when calculating how much to sell the flats to us but the land is at no cost to them loh and seriously, no developer would want to buy a piece of land right smack in the heartlands right? aiyo you see my bad, spamming predaking's t-blog with my nonsensical rantings paiseh paiseh but hor, how come no pix coming up? then hor, dun downgrade lah, diff only 4 or 14cm only me getting a double-bowl coz we cook so one bowl defrost and the other bowl still can use to wash things or one bowl put the drying dishes while washing in the other bowl very useful to have two bowls loh
-
my own intepretation of the phrase 'love is blind' - 'if you love the person, you will be blind to all his/her short-comings' exactly pak tor so long liao no need to get married lah we are not exactly child-loving pple so no intention of having one guess like the old saying goes 'why fix it if it ain't broken'
-
my contractor charge me $1350 for painting my EA with medifresh 3-in-1 and $150 for patching up all groove lines think will just go for it, already spend so much money liao might as well if not next time want to do it will be really leceh
-
hmm, it may not be application to singapore's context coz 80% of the sinks available can be both under- or over- mounted it will also depend on the workmanship of the contractor application of the sealant must be done properly, if not it's cause leakages and that's bad news for wooden cabinets pros and cons to me but i'm going to undermount my sink coz it doesn't come with a drainer...

hehehe, this is what my mother insist is hakka style chicken rice she will cook it for us when we want to eat something different for claypot chicken rice, the most important thing is the rice the chicken is only added near the end of the cooking process ate the claypot rice at margaret dr very good coz the rice is cooked in the claypot, not like some who add half-cooked rice into the claypot to save time the rice can absorb the fragrance of the claypot one tip - claypot is worth more when it is used coz the material actually absorbs the fragrance of previous cooking and give the food a more 'flavourful' taste. so new claypot got to 'season' then can cook good food -
me already bought the rain shower sets liao will be installing the gas heater my contractor said if one rain shower pressure no proble but if two rain shower use at the same time then maybe not enough pressure wah so envious leh, you get the hot water points me still got to pay citygas to pipe them for me that would mean exposed piping everywhere
-
actually $1.90 is normal price liao, those big one CK selling at $1 only will definately take the colander back for refund coz i'll be going down to buy the GRUNDTAL shelves and roller blinds now looking around for lobang to customise roller blinds either make printed canvas provided by me into roller blinds or i supply the pix then they print it onto the roller blinds anyone got any lobang? just updated my blog with pix of my latest purchases a sink mixer at $35 and toilet roll holders at $10 each it's showroom pieces so never used before good buy if anyone interested can pm me for the contact this guy got quite a bit of showroom pieces (showroom as in those property development show-units)

actually the height of the sink tap plays a big part leh the higher the tap tip is, the greater the force the water will hit the sink so higher chance of splash? just a thought, but sounds logical right? hehehe, my washer only 40cm wide leh bought it also coz of space constraint the things we had to do just because of some stupid engineers over at hdb
-
hehehe, we have our own theory about this it was 'born' after a round of 'games' if you love a person, everything about him is cute e.g. the way he burps loudly after meal it shows that he had a good meal, esp if you cooked it for him if you dun love this person, the exact same loud burp will become annoying and embarrassing even... so at the end of the day, if you love each other enough you will learn to work things out but if the love is gone, one will only think of how to make the other person's life miserable or a quick exit we 'lao fu lao qi' liao lah, still think of this kind of things we've been together for the past eight? nine? years liao (jia lat lost count liao, if he sees this he is gonna KILL me)

me wanted to go sleep one but see you online so chat a while longer long time no chat, so how's your new place? busy cleaning like LinDa?
