looks very interesting indeed anyone using this? i wonder how much each adapter will cost but hor, if got 100mbps plan then Gigabit LAN will be good, esp if doing BT or online gaming
-
think for me leather is more difficult to maintain coz i can live with the fabric with hair, dust etc but leather can't leave it bah, if dun maintain will crack after some time. genuine leather is cooling but PVC or PU is but then hor, i got leather anyway coz if i use fabric and my babies vomit on the sofa, then the whole sofa got to through away liao coz the moisture will definitely seep through all the way

actually not closing up, just making it smaller the one at the main door is 126cm, bigger than the main door which is not supposed to be so coz main door is where the wealth flows in and the kitchen is where the wealth goes out mah so if kitchen entrance bigger than main door might cause me to spend more than i end (hope i interprete it right, if not MaCe will come and !! me) we both choose the unit coz of the two kitchen entrance mah, so if close one like very wasted loh hehehe, i'm super lazy one every material i also think think think if need to scrub hard, how 'mei' i also won't go for it pix of my current home's mosaic doorway close up of the mosaic as for the rest of your post seriously i dun really undestand leh think you mean that mosaic tiles comes in smaller pieces and cost less than the bigger piece one? now thinking of alternatives loh, if take those mosaic tiles will set me back another $1.3k just for the tiles. so the doorway and sink support total will cost $2.5k then the grilles likely to hit $3k coz alumesh is expensive but for my babies, i dun mind skipping even my BIW to get the grilles went down to my nest just now coz my TO emailed me to say those that must be done has been done so i went down with my hopes a little too high sometimes i wonder is it me or something is wrong with these people the toilet kerb tile has been changed but not to the toilet wall tile, nor the toilet floor tile so one wall, three different colour of tiles why oh why

nice lights wow Gigabit LAN leh, i also want but i have no idea how to go about it think i'll just bear with the slwo connection with my wireless modem maybe wait for N routers to be cheaper than go and buy one

Bomb Shelter
applefreak replied to gingar's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
it's basically a door that is secured by a magnetic mechanism that locks when you push and unlocks when you push again think display cabinets in shopping centres or bookcase with glass doors... check out SCDF, HDB, BCA, ecitizen.com for information on all renovation processes -
hahaha you see me so up ah me just love granite and has been reading up on homes with granite be it flooring, countertop, table-top, vanity top aiyah all the tops loh really really love the look of granite actually sofa material should be decided by your needs e.g. do you need stain-resistance or scratch-resistance? but if you go for white glossy laminate, leather would look more sleek however, maintenance is more siong loh
-
is your headboard completed? got pix? think the two of you can become advisers over at the DIY section
-
think the board should be as wide as the table but it's a personal choice bah the whole thing can be in white glossy laminate with coloured stripes if your granite is really black galaxy, can even go for sparse gold stripes on the board sparse as in really sparse, maybe just one or two stripes on the entire board i love granite flooring and i would go for furnitures that can bring out the beauty of the floor instead of take away attention from it so i'd most probably go for light coloured furniture with simple lines i.e. not much design

i think body means price over paper value e.g. that time we scrap the car, actually should only get back paper value, but they paid us $5k more for the body loh so we got back $40+k paper value and $5k for the body

Home Protection Scheme From Cpf - Doubts
applefreak replied to MeToo's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
then like this will affect other policies bought using cpf or not? e.g. medisave etc... is rejected or approved to be exempted? i know if you can show that you are covered for the loan amt or more, can apply to be exempted from HPS -
me thinking of constructing a arched doorway at the kitchen entrance and a sink support, both using the same mosaic tile no need to use toothbrush lah my current home has the arched doorway think nobody cleaned it before looks okay to me though the sink support may need a little more work but should also be okay think the problem will only come when it's in the bathroom coz of the moisture... but hor, having second thoughts about the arched doorway liao the tile is $16psf, that means for every sqf of tile i use, i got to top up $13 if use 100sqf of tiles for the doorway + sink support means i got to top up $1.3k now thinking of just built a wall extension to close up the kitchen entrance then use kitchen cabinet to hide it

Home Protection Scheme From Cpf - Doubts
applefreak replied to MeToo's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
maybe if HPS kenna rejected by CPF, then cannot use CPF to pay loan? -
that time i took from parkway back, alighted at the bus stop in front of compass height facing the blocks of flat it's the one with the overhead bridge that has escalator that's the only one right? coz me staying compassvale street, so will be using that bridge quite often to go to the NEL station... my office is upstairs of the station
-
think i'm one of the luckier ones my itinerary will be home walk to NEL -> NEL train -> walk to office Although the LRT station is right in front of my block, the NEL station is like 10min walking distance away so good to exercise then if weekends want to go bedok, can always take the free shuttle service to parkway, then take the free shuttle service to bedok me cheapo so always looking out for this kind of 'transfer' service

welcome back tried out SQ quite a few times, didn't managed to get in donut definitely missed you a lot you mean you will only start renovation near the end of the year? actually do you have a rough idea you want done or you want someone to design your place maybe you want to send your flr plan to the various ID firms and get a quote most won't reply but some will so you will have a rough idea what to expect
-
what i meant was continental body worth more that's why asking if it's japanese
-
still better than panggiap, i 'beo' the price they are going to quote me when they came down for doing measurement - $16-$18psf and they still want to increase the price when i say i need 2.5" gap went down to hup kiong to check out the mosaic tile available wah my eyes busy until dun know liao what so many variety and all of them gives a different feel dun know which one to choose think i will be voted down coz the one i liked and the one the rest of my family liked is totally different
-
japanese car? that time when we sold the MPV, body only worth $5k and that was bcoz my friend knew the dealer, so it was a 'friendship' price
-
you forget to include the DROOLER - me think three of us got to go your place separately, if not sure flood
-
no problem. all these i gathered from friends and forum threads coz i'm a very kiasu person depending on your items, using Crown may not be OTT if you have some valuable yet heavy items read about a forummer whose table was damaged during the move but the company refused to take responsibility that after he repeatedly tell them that the table is expensive and of sentimental value to him, from the receptionist who picked up the phone to the person who made the appt to the person who came down to do valuation to the person who actually moved the table big companies are fuss free, also have heard horror stories where the movers load everything onto their lorry, then stop halfway and demand for more money. or else they will unload everything
