Hacking Wall
applefreak replied to X.H.LI's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
if it's bold then sorry no go need PE for cases when it's not bold but there is no demarcation you notice groove lines on the walls? that actually demarcates walls that you can hack compared to those you can't -

for postform, can ask your ID to do ABS trimming at the joint just like for our cabinet doors like that contractor can afford to give 10ft postform top free for kitchen cabinets so you should roughly know how much your ID charge
-
hi klipp klapp, since the lime green countertop is for the shoe cabinet top why don't you just go for postform top? much cheaper than solid surface and you can get the green you want as long as it's not near extreme moisture or heat, postform tops can last for years

Hacking Wall
applefreak replied to X.H.LI's topic in Moving House: Packing, Storing, Moving To Your New House
hacking a wall is cheap, it's the PE endorsement fee that is expensive not to forget there'll be debris removal fee too also, hacking after renovation is completed will bring about several issues 1. the lack of floor tile at the hacked wall 2. the dust generated 3. nearby fixtures that MIGHT be damaged hacking allowed or not depends on what the PE says not the age of the property the only exception is bathroom for brand new hdb flats three years before hacking of tiles is allowed -
yes the issue is the humidity of our climate don't think it's really such a big issue the fridge might only last 8 years instead of 15 in their country but will you keep a fridge for 15 years, taking the higher electricity consumption into consideration?

only approved material for gas pipe is copper think the material is considered most stable in years to come less likely to have leakage compared to the rest like stainless steel or pvc -

i'm a believer of everything and anything if there is nothing to prove the contrary, i'll believe i won't say i'm a firm believer of FS but a lot of things happened to make me slowly incorporate it into my life before getting my own place, i have absolutely no knowledge of FS but after learning about FS, i realised that there are things we do without even realising that it's 'good' for us in FS speak since young, i've always thought i will grow up and get a dog however, in the end i become a cat lover i've always loved colours like purple and red in the end i realised these things symbolises the missing elements of my life same goes for my sister, the things she likes symbolises the missing elements of her life how coincidental is that? :jawdrop: also, most of the FS things are pretty common sense e.g. not sleeping with your head to the window/door we lose almost 75% of our body heat through our head when we sleep our body core temp also drops add to that sleeping at an opening, no wonder it's easy to catch a cold
