guess first thing you'll have to refer to the contract if there's a clause somewhere that say they are not responsible for any delay then there should be something regarding the compensation amount for delay also, they should pay for everything they've damaged and make good those not well-done if you want, you can try to claim everything from them but whether they pay or not is another thing would you really go to court to claim?

Town Council Monthly Charges
applefreak replied to hongss's topic in Housing Rules, Policies and Procedures
dun think they'll double-deduct they will only send the deduction notification when your account is due giro takes quite sometime to be approved so better submit it soon -
hmm, my lights only cost $20+ to $40+ leh if change two ballast they lugi liao most important to me is the time it takes for the bulb to light up now that you mentioned, i've got skirtings too but no choice leh, either skirting or plastering coz my flat de facto comes with skirting so hacked liao gotta have something to cover it
-
thanks for the pix good progress you are making there you may want to consider sending an email to your TO asking for compensation of S&CC charges and any costs due to their procrastination cc the email to your MP helps that's what i did and the progress miraculously sped up

no lah, like myth #6 some of us tend to go for what we find nice at our friend's place that's why for a period of time, every house-warming i go to gives me a deja-vu feeling EVERYBODY got the L-shaped sofa, low tv console and feature wall behind, tic-tac door feature wall to hide HHS and standard 20ft kitchen cabinet with solid surface it's like everybody used only one ID and one drawing got money doesn't mean got taste okay but i got no money AND no taste  talking about ballast, nan wah offer lifetime warranty for their ballast leh they say coz only spoil once or twice for the life span of the light so they offer this as a freebie coz it's cheap to replace can it be true?

for my case the top brass i've met are all very nice people take for example my big big boss when he call he'll actually say 'hi this is so-and-so, you are xxx?' he doesn't expect us to recognise his voice maybe i'm quite lucky
-
think some of it doesn't really apply to singapore context myth #1 is one of them how many of us decide our purchase based on the microwave? most likely we'll just buy and hack everything away as for myth #6, think it applies to everywhere at home e.g. feature wall, wallpaper, pendant dining lights !!

Ikea Sink, Anyone Used It Before?
applefreak replied to kids2's topic in Plumbing & Electrical Works
how not lasting can a stainless steel sink be? most common complain would be the lost of shine but that's about it price looks reasonable but most stainless steel sinks are around this price except those 'branded' ones take a walk along jln besar, you'll find loads of sinks at this price -
heng i got renotalk if not think will make quite a few mistakes highlighted above esp the island one
-

no leh, bought it off the internet at $200 maybe they never install this kind before btw, this one looks interesting you think easy to use? http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:Telecont...tioner:17211788 one call and come back to cool room maybe this plumber is not the one who did MaCe place then hor, my switches also got problem keep forgetting to tell patrick
-
one uses gas and the other electricity? kekeke actually there are four types of water heaters on the market instant or storage heaters powered by gas or electricity gas storage heaters are not allowed to be used in HDB flats for the remaining three, instant heaters are most popular as it consumes less electricity than a storage one and can be installed in the bathroom gas instant heaters must be installed at a well-ventilated place so some find it unsightly if they don't have a service yard electricity storage heaters are good if your family is big, you like rainshower and you want hot water everywhere e.g. bathrooms and kitchen sink each has it's pros and cons so it really depends on your wants and lifestyle
-
no lah, that day patrick called to say the shower head holder cannot be fixed onto the rainshower pole so called the seller and the seller came down today with loads of things turn out the holder can be slotted onto the pole, just that got to unscrew something from the bottom maybe the plumber tried to slot it from the top?
-
almost got that light at my sis's suggestion heng didn't go for it maybe you want to look at how the clip is damaged as in drop off totally or did was it already damaged also, better check the other two lights' clip just in case
-
think you gotta log into your account before you can make changes the feature wall not too bad, guess the effect will only be there when all the furniture are in
-
by the best i mean people who are really good at what they do it can be renovation contractors, cleaners or the big brass those really good contractors are more than willing to share how to go about DIYing certain stuff coz they have more than enough business on the other hand are those who refused to share even how many feet should the kitchen cabinets be peers-wise, guess i dun really choose them by how good or bad they are
-
think you got to go to the image proper to do it eric taught me so btw, the links you post above is not dynamic leh i tried and can be done
-
