applefreak replied to oasis's topic in Renovation Contractors, Interior Designers & Suppliers Reviews
ho bee is a contractor they dun provide ID services but then again, what is your definition of ID services? the only difference to me between ID and contractor is the provision of design many confuse contractors with sub-contractors :notti: -

applefreak replied to icer's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
no lah, just point out the extreme loh that means even if i live to 130 and work till then, i'll still save -
hmm still stuck with singnet for at least 12mths guess will just downgrade to the lowest plan when the contract is over

jarpen is chip board thing about chip board is cannot touch water, if not the laminate will peel and the material will 'balloon' in the long run the chips will just fall off and the whole thing disintegrate find that it's still expensive might as well go lumber yard and buy solid wood shelves that's what i'm going to do have the norrgrund mirror cabinet edge of mirror rusty within two years and sides all got yellow stains overall experience not too good, esp considering can get similar item outside at a lower price

How Can Singles Afford?
applefreak replied to icer's topic in HDB New/Resale Flats, Executive Condominiums
actually really depends on your lifestyle and area of work for me, after shifing to SK my transportation cost with increase by $100 a month a year is $1.2k, 10yrs is $12k and 100yrs is $120k add this $120k to my SK flat price i still cannot buy a similar flat in central wor time wise i'll spend an additional hour every day which i can use to read a book, do some handicraft or sleep somemore on the train -
think the speed largely depends on two factors where you stay and what your neighbours in the block are using if you stay far far away from the exchange or none of your neighbours are using starhub, then starhub is a better choice but if stay very near the exchange and all neighbours using starhub, then singnet better loh another thing that is pushing me towards starhub is the lousy singtel customer service made me waste two trips, numerous calls and time, in the end still cannot change to mio plan

applefreak replied to sakae sushi's topic in Sound and Vision -Home Theatre Systems & Audiophiles
oh oh, then i better stay away from the pio booth if not see the gen 8, can't settle for gen 7 liao guess most important thing is buy what your eyes and wallet is comfortable with bah if your eyes is comfortable with akira lcd, then why not save the money and buy akira -
thought LG got energy saving 3-ticks? even ENV's website also say it's most energy efficient for non-inverter think we'll only switch on air-con on very warm days so it's either all 3 on or all 3 off

me went for it for a few reasons lah the very main one is my mum's hand no strength, so can't pull the plug out of a normal socket eubiq good in a sense that only need to twist to the side so convenient for her second is coz i dun really trust those extension socket, and i can't really have wires running around in the kitchen coz worried my parents will trip or my babies get strangled not forgetting that the 60cm one can plug up to 8 plugs so definitely more than any extension socket seriously hor, for all these convenience not really expensive lah
-
think my two bottles will be finished at one go coz of the amt of s/s items i have at home just my active kitchen items confirm will use up one bottle liao think animals are very sensitive to our feelings and cats being aloof is really a myth leh think during the unit tour this myth will be broken coz my local longhair basically goes around rubbing himself against everybody's leg in hope of being carried wah just realised you all wake up very early hor me just woke up nia
