  1. guess it's not so much low or high floor, but how many floors the water passes through water pressure of a 2nd flr unit differs a lot if one block is 4 storeys and the other 40 storeys

  7. talking about aircon, just got the best tech pple to come down coz the aircon not cold at all think they pumped the coolant now crossing my fingers that it's not a leak somewhere causing the problem !! agree with compassvale that it's a really personal choice coz all of us have different lifestyles most important thing is do what suits your lifestyle best e.g. i didn't have air-con in living room coz i smoke in the living room, and i have ceiling fan, and my parents dun like air-con. so there wasn't the need loh !!

  9. talking about that area reminds me of the food there liao the coffee shop next to swee chun serves very good satay i like coz the satay sauce has grated pineapple, similar to the one at alexandra village same coffee shop, the yong tau foo laksa also not bad one of the few yong tau foo that serves clams as well the prawn noodles also quite nice, esp the noodle soup very traditional hokkien style another stall of prawn noodles is the one at tiong bahru market only sells for breakfast and sold out by 12plus the chilli is fragrant and not over powering !! !! oh yes, the food centre opposite - jln berseh food centre downstairs got two stall of beef noodles, both no bad too bad i dun eat beef, coz everytime go there the smell always manage to make me salivate

  12. got two more to add 1. beng tuan at jean yip building. find that their furniture is quite value for money and after-sales service is excellent alvan is the sales guy who served me. after a little screw up with the delivery and product, he kept calling me to apologise and try his best to resolve the problem 2. bedznco at eunos techlink (or technopark?) they sell solid wood furniture at reasonable prices. those looking for zen or resort themed furniture can try checking them out oh and i bought my half-leather sofa from courts $1,099 with three years warranty on parts and seams 3 + 2 + 1 seater, giovanni series

  14. the price is for tile or slab? if tile then price normal, slab will cost much more than that bah also, some charge cheaply for the slab but skyhigh for cutting hole, profiling and polishing :notti: keep us updated please if really that cheap maybe i also want to buy

  16. hmm so far all the stainless steel items i have quite okay the place i have them are all high humidity areas e.g. bathroom and kitchen !!
  17. difference between tempered glass and normal glass tempered glass is 'tempered' with to ensure that it shatters into beads of glass normal glass breaks into shards with sharp edges usually tempered glass won't have crack lines like this upon impact, it's have a frosted glass effect before shattering

  20. there are two types of ceiling fan with lights one looks like this and the other looks like this both are quite bright IMHO but if you still dun like, can consider getting ceiling fan and reading lights or table lamp

  23. dear dear, think you should ask for a full refund from the shop how can a product designed to take a full sized adult's weight be so fragile??? :dribble:
