hehehe my place is with service balcony, which is directly next to the kitchen so when i cook, the laundry will still kenna unless i close the door and window, which will result in a greasy living room either way is :bangwall: maybe they should consider having some sort of ventilation which works like a hood, but expels the greasy air at the roof

pity hdb stopped building 'white' flats there are too many pillars and beams in a standard hdb flat to re-layout the unit

actually nowadays i find that the younger generations rarely wear dresses wor on the train, i rarely see anyone in dresses those in dresses are usually at least above 30, and most often above 40 me weekend also big t-shirt and berms i wear dresses to work coz easiest for me

wah like this very hard to say loh it depends on how many false ceiling lights, how many lights you are installing, how many new points you want these can make a big difference to the price

maybe you want to post how much did your contractor quote you then we can advise if the quote is reasonable or too high sometimes electrical works can be expensive, esp when it involves hacking and patching up

oops that's not good to hear but at least they didn't give way immediately maybe can put something like boxes below to give some 'support' that's the problem with none-solid wood, too long and they tend to yield in the middle now i'm starting to worry about the bottoms of my big drawers
