nice nice, makes me wanna to remake my room too
-
that's a very good idea and refreshing take from the usual tiled kitchen hmm, maybe i'll steal that idea for my next kitchen makeover
-
then it's better to get this one !!
-
actually blum is more for smooth sliding and soft closing aka anti-slam no matter how hard you push, it's slow down the last few cm and close slowly thus ensuring a soundless closure has got nothing about child-proof if you go to the blum website and check out the dynamic space site or the hettich site's movie clip you'd realise the these are actually for adults and people who entertain at home
-
welcome to renotalk
-
wah very nice leh if you do partition instead of sliding door can be WIW liao !!
-
one thing to note about having shiny shiny tiles for living room is that there might be embarrassing incidents for ladies in dresses

Patch Up Work, Whose Job?
applefreak replied to set free's topic in Ceiling, Walls and Flooring Works
hmm it depends largely on the integrity, and of course the contract terms, of the ID / Contractor usually it'll say hack and make good affect areas of xxx, does your contract state that? or if you contractor is a nice guy he'll also do it only those know for 'hidden costs' ones will play punk like this -
that's why envious loh almost tempted to get banglas to hack my HHS so that my kitchen can have island but in the end didn't so got to live with my galley kitchen
-
thanks thanks, love the coffee table very nicely done and really matches the tv console
-
saw this somewhere, can't remember though didn't get it coz of the odd shape and think no on/off switch so it'll be on when i still don't need it and off by the time i need it
-
hmm then i'm not sure liao but it really feels very different when i use the ones at home and the ones at ikea !!
-
oops, how about 05 Jan? or 19 Jan? compassvale and gendon, can you make it on these two days?
-
oops you want i can pm you the contact of the seller

yo wayne, got bigger pix or not? love to see your tv wall and coffee table in detail, looks very nicely thought out
-
wah you've got a kitchen island really envious leh !!
-
mmmmm, nice nice esp your kitchen colours, daring use of floor tiles !!
-
those sold at ikea are designed by BLUM, but not produced by them (i think) so the precision engineering part is missing it feels filmsy when i was playing with it at ikea tampines my bottom cabinet all drawers, a total of 10 my full height cabinet is 8 drawers easier to see everything one glance i paid $60 for blumotion for each drawer hinges are much cheaper, think one door need maximum 8 which translates to $64 each door if small door four hinges only $32
-
wah got so many doors ah that's the price of my blumotion drawer runners for all 18 drawers liao leh
-
aiya should have come here and jio maybe can get even better discount if buy more
-
hahaha thought you underlined the words for effect i only clicked on the karashi one coz i have no idea what that is, now i know guess as long as you do not choose two clashing, solid colours everything should be alright but then again, even strong clashing colours can give a different, artistic feeling to the whole place most important is you must feel comfortable living in the place any more pix for me to :deal: ??? btw can ask how's the workmanship of your carpenter? thinking of adding some carpentry items
-
actually blum and hettich are priced as such for a reason they really last, and can take whatever abuse you hurl at them heard someone mentioned before that the ikea ones doesn't last for more than 3yrs even the 10yr warranty for their kitchen doesn't cover the runners and hinges :deal: i'd say blum is really worth the price lah really anti-slam and silent on closing

hehehe, we made a bad decision going for leather sofa with BIG arm-rests the boy in the third pix view it as his personal scratching post but he is the only one who scratches the sofa, he doesn't touch any other furniture and the other two will scratch either the carpet (bought specially for them) or the newspaper stack

then shall we have the jelly party at gendon's place on 12 Jan? those for it say aye
