maybe you can consider using the 'light something' series from nippon (or is it ICI) the one that reflects more light than normal paint it'll help in the day so you won't need to use the lights in the morning !!

my concrete sink support is using granite countertop so can't really answer your question however, the tiled sides and bottom is quite easy to clean won't consider concrete supports old-fashioned, just not 'in' now pix of my concrete sink support before the sink was up before the countertop was up finished product

painting the inner ceiling can make the ceiling look higher the important thing to consider is how much natural light comes into your unit if it's bright enough, black will be a nice choice if not, you might have to switch on the lights even in the day

guess for me the amt of money spent on each room should be relative to the time spent inside for my mum and me, we love to cook so the kitchen must be functional and convenient for us, blum helps with that but if you seldom cook, or it's a trophy kitchen then it's rather pointless to get something so expensive

personally don't find that aircon in the living room is absolutely necessary i don't have air-con in my living room as well, a ceiling fan is more than enough maybe coz my place is cool enough, we don't even switch on the air-con in the rooms

for countertop, it's a personal choice bah we checked out the most commonly available granites and found that we love the blue pearl if you want to see it, you can go to the jewellery shop across the side road from lucky chinatown they are using blue pearl as floor tiles, really :)

no i only do concrete sink support, a total of 4ft nia so that works out to about $270pfr for a concrete sink support INCLUDING blue pearl granite top
