i got my keys in early mar, took them three weeks to process my list and hacking work only started in mid apr :sport-smiley-004: -
like what vowsh mentioned, particle board 3ft is around $400-500 as for concrete wall, i'm not too sure coz prices have shot up since i've done renovation but should be slightly more expensive than particle board i.e. around $600 - 700 for 3ft

thanks thanks :sport-smiley-004:

hopefully the quality of the JW premium flats are much better the SK ones really cannot make it mine took 4mths and still have outstanding items :notti: -
hmm 13ft is about 3.9m, are you sure the distance is that much??? usually partition is made of particle board but in order to hold up the door, don't think particle board can make it to withstand the daily opening and closing of doors, a concrete wall is the best choice

wah then you got to cross you fingers and toes that there is no defect at all even then, two month might be a little rush for a full scale renovation wor -
actually the better quality solid tops are more expensive than granite tops corian by dupont, LG etc are around $140 pfr think i really got a very good deal at $100 pfr for my countertop think it's really up to the individual bah some prefer the beauty of natural stone - like me some prefer the seamless and uniformed colour of solid top

imho, it'll be almost a year before you'll need those electrical items you've not gotten your keys, and i assume yours is a new unit so there'll be defects to be rectified i'm sure by the time your renovation is finishing, the price of the appliances will DEFINITELY by lower most likely, those models will be obsolete by then -
hehehe you should see odie's blog, two hundred over pages wor :sport-smiley-018:

i'm looking for something that i can add onto the light itself coz my home is STUPIDLY designed by hdb my kitchen entrance is on the left on entry, but i'll have to walk through the kitchen to get to the other side to switch on the lights :sport-smiley-018: it's a one-way switch somemore

hmm looking at the first pix of this thread, seems like you've got a very good idea of what you want and how the place should turn out why not consider getting a main contractor? quite a few of us used a contractor instead of an ID and saved a bit on renovation cost. the only difference between an ID and a main contractor is that ID provides design while the main contractor does exactly what you want. both do cordination as well
