Window Grills

hdb only has regulations regarding installations that PROTRUDE out from the unit therefore those wrought iron grilles that protrude out of the wall must apply permit the rest all no need -

one thing i learnt about driving is when a bus / lorry / van (basically anything that's big enough to block your view) stops for no apparent reason, there must be pedestrian involved. never mind that the traffic light is in the vehicles favour, pedestrians will still try their luck
-
actually if you have a lot of appliances, like in my case guess you'd be a little more careful can you imagine spilling the kettle right next to the microwave oven AND rice cooker AND cordless phone AND the kettle itself?

sigh, please note that nobody OWNS a hdb flat we are all leasing it from HDB, therefore the term lessee and co-lessee however, it's just like any other contract it's an agreement to pay a certain sum of money to lease it from hdb unless you break one of the many rules and regulations, they have no right to evict you similar to rental properties, if you have paid up in full for two years but unfortunately passed away, your family member can still stay in the property until the lease is up
