Hi, I bought all my LED downlights from Tampoi too but one of the light was given wrong color, white instead of yellow, may i know what color is yours and what is the size? 4" or 6"? If it's 4" yellow bulb then i can buy 1 pc from u. btw, why cant i pm u?

Hi, I bought it from JB and the brand is called Fanmaster, ard $280 with remote control. It has an option to add the light and can use either the white or maple side for the blade (I'm using the maple color side). However, I'm not recommended this fan though the look is nice but not as strong as the normal KDK or elmark fan.

Hi, I just completed my Reno and did purchase some items from taobao, I'd like to share with u that lightings in JB is really as cheap as taobao, and good thing is u can test before u buy and exchange if there's any defect, as for taobao, u can't touch feel and try and long waiting time, if u pay for express delivery then the cost end up is higher than u purchase locally. I bought all my led down lights from JB and their decorative pendant lights (those replica designer lighting) are selling as cheap as below RM200. I bought my replica George Nelson pendant light at RM130 only. I source from taobao also the same price but haven't include shipping cost. Just my 2 cents of word cause I understand not everyone likes to travel to JB.

Sofa and beds will be delivering today, tomorrow will be my move in day, everyone are so excited to move to the new place!

The carpenter promised that will deliver and install all cabinet by 22 Nov, so my plan to move in by 25 Nov will be materialized. I bought the teak wood dining top from SY living at Furniture Mall, haven't decide on the chair, either getting from them at $200 each with slip cover or $109 from Harvey Norman but fixed cover.

After few months of waiting, finally gotten my key and started the renovation. Below is my final layout plan, hopefully it's really final final, don't know change how many times already, especially the master room wardrobe and tv cabinet location. Status of my reno: Hacking started and ended last week, tiles all arrived but since last wednesday stop all the work till 'further notice'. My ID said no tiler, whole industry very busy rushing for job, donno how true but really no choice but have to wait. Ideally I want to get my house ready my end Nov, save my rental and can have the whole dec to decorate and unpack my stuff, but my ID dare not to commit, said if I rush later the workmanship not good... I've yet to confirm my carpentry work, really worry the workers cannot deliver on time.

My owner suddenly handover key to me 2 weeks before my completion, i wasn't prepared and my ID quickly help me to submit the reno permit to HDB. thank god it was approved right away and I have 'unofficially' commence work last fri, as I check the 'tong shu' that last fri is a good day to commence work, but ID haven arrange hacker coz too last min, I just bring my own hammer to the house and did some hacking, consider 'kai gong' le!

Hi eekenji, Actually your layout is so much bigger than mine, at least u can have the luxury to use the study room as playroom, i have to sacrifice my study to become dining. I like your idea of making a settee cum cabinet for the recess under the window, but due to budget constraint, i think i'll just leave all my recess open now, do it later part when I move in, anyway, it's just carpentry work, should be alright. Just want to share with u my latest layout plan, I'll hack away the store room and move it over to the living hall, do a full height cabinet with mirror to cover the entrance, make it like a feature wall... by doing this, i can have a 'real' walk in wardrobe and better position for my bed as well. what do you all think? btw, my completion is in end oct, need to confirm my reno soon. I contacted mr. I've spoken to a few ID in the market and ** has given quite an impressive proposal, though they are not the cheapest in the market, they do provide very professional and valuable advice to me. As the co is relatively new in the mkt and I couldn't find any comments here in renotalk, I'm just wondering if there's anyone engage their service recently.
