May i know opinion from dear EM owners here..what are ur views say....would rather do a major overhaul since u have the $$ now and do a major overhaul for the EM unit now.. which May in future bring up the value of the unit ...with now EM are becoming more in demand...however , the future meaning to say unit will then be 30+ years old and above... Or would rather make do with the current unit condition and/or do only the necessary reno.. Just curious.. as i tend to have other people commenting... wht bother to do so much when u can save $$... dunno if this question sounds silly...but yea...

How much is the average rewiring for EM unit? I was quoted a jawdropping figure... $$7700 is too much?? Understand that it depends on how many lighting points.. ? After much nego, wiring man says he can offer discount to $6500.. still burning a hole in my pocket.. requested ID to bring in a diff guy for another quotation...

Yeay finally Got my keys last night...!! Last look of the unit... feel like back in the 80s-90s era Here we go peeps!! Living Room...check out the green netting along the corridor...overhaul in & outside unit... new paint for the block... new lifts, new parks... and carpark..how cool is that?

Wah so shiok... wasted my weekend.. hub is working on shifts .tho today his off day but he slept all the way thru.. haiya... dunno really sleepy or scared to go out.. sure kena buy things..lol!!

Same same routine!!! Now less Facebook...More Renotalk!! Lol!! Also check propertyguru..tho now not significant for me... but at least it makes me feel good to see that we got our EM at a good deal!

Me currently stay 2nd floor... hub says why must buy EM.. u can enjoy going up & down the unit.by stairs. But still i take the lifts... lol!! Initially Mr Hub wanted to buy Condo..but i drop that idea... i dunno if we r ready for one.. tho financially is not a problem.. coz deep deep in my heart EM my no.1 choice...errr for now at least..

Oh yes cove lights.. me too finds it is not ez to maintain ans i imagine creepy crawlies makes it as their hideout.. but the other half wants it badly.. he promised to do cleaning buttttttt... i reckon it will be a long term duty for him.. dilema.. tho design wise it definitely give a nice lighting effect...

Am still sourcing for air con.. anybody have any good recommendation where i can get a good deal for a system 4 inverter...? Most advise to get 2 compressors dunno if this is necessary? My living room (entertainment area) will have sliding door which divides the area with the stairs... so its just small area that will be having the aircon at level 1.. anyone using 2 compressors?

Today is the day.. am officially a full pledged EM owner... officially on paper that is...hubby and i allowing seller to extend for 3 more days since it's Hari Raya Haji tomorrow.... come monday ID will do some checking and hack hack starts on next Tuesday...i'm so excited worried...mixed feeling...awww.. i dunno.. Been my childhood dream to live in a mansionette unit.. don't ask me why i fascinate so much about the stairs lol!! My elder sis and I then were very excited standing at our kitchen window to see the neighbouring block EM owner going up and down the stairs.. ermm we are not peeping tom hallo.. just envy them.. I shall enjoy my hari raya haji tomoro...tho current house in big mess with all boxes packing stuffs n such.. hubby nags and told me to clear unwanted stuffs but seems like most items i still need them... hmmm..
