We were at our house for our air-con and glass works installation from early morning to late afternoon . But when we saw the end products, we were more than happy to be there. It was the same previous two guys who did a good job on the our laying of our air-con pipings! Hey deviansyh. You need to check if you have kitchen workarea about 400mm-600mm after putting 32" sink. I have no luxury to have 32" with the small kitchen. Having to say that, 23" sink is sufficient for me.

From my experience, their pricing is competitive and you can ask for some discount before confirmation. I will recommend you to get colour pvc for your cabinets, just few hundreds difference but it is so much nicer

Yea, we are going down together with her on Friday. Well she had tried painting at the workshop so she knows what to do. Good to have ID who is willing to go extra miles to help you save money, expecially on tight budget hehe. So she suggested that I just need to get the paint ($72) and she will help us to paint our mbr wall this coming Friday. if I am going to get painter, it is going to cost like few hundreds additional for the labour cost!

Hairline cracks are normal as with the building is settling down. If you feel worried, you can get BSC during joint inspection to look at it. Often than not, just painting over will be fine. You have to inform BSC on the types of Renovation works you are doing. They will advise you based on the defects you had submitted to decide. They are pretty flexible. For my hollow tiles, they took a week to fix them all. You have to apply permit for any hacking. For taking away the SY door, no PE is required. If you have ID, he/she will plan and do all these for you.

The wardrobe, bedside tables, TV feature wall and toliet's mirror cabinet are up! We will be using nippon momento on the bed head's wall. [MBR] [Kitchen] We wanted our kitchen to feel sunny, warm and calm. This is especially so with our small kitchen to look bigger. Based on my ID's advice , we will use a yellow kitchen mirror backing and bottom cabinets with yellow border.

The cove and downlights in this room are fixed. The reason why the downlights are not covered is to prevent painting which will be done later to stain the cover. We will getting "rainbow" blinds for this room [Guest/Study Room]

On 19/10/12, we had to bring down our sink & tap to our new house to do the cut-out for the kitchen worktop. We will be also meeting Thomas from J.W.T curtains to select fabric for our curtains and blinds for the rooms. We were so excited to see the result of the carpentary works that last night we couldn't sleep well zz . The first thing we saw after opening our door is our Shoes Cabinet! We were really happy as it gives us the "feel" that we wanted and the workmanship is . What is pending for the Shoes cabinet now is the lighting for hollow display rack. [shoes Cabinet] Next, we saw that our TV feature wall is up. For TV feature wall, laminate is yet to be put up. As part of the room sound treatment, sound acoustics diffusers will be placed into two hollow parts of the feature wall and bass traps will be placed on the two corners of the wall. [TV feature wall] As for the Walk way, I can see that the air-con trucking had been properly box-up and the two downlights are up. [Our Walk way]

It has been awhile since the last update as we had to wait for BSC to fix the numerous hollow parquet tiles in our bedrooms. We had to call BSC several times to know the progress of the fixing of the hollow parquet tiles and was given a green light to resume my renovation on 17/10/12. Cheryl (ID) had made arrangement for all my carpentry works to be delivered and installed on 17/10/12. Partial lightings will be up too! Cheryl knew that we were excited on the carpentry works installation and had took some photos for us! [Kitchen] [Guest/Study Room]
