    Thanks for the info. If buying E27 downlights, that is, non LED, is cost savings substantial?

    That "mini fan" (vento fino) is not that practical to me, unless i buy the improved version which can oscillate, but it is soooo pricey!

    Not very sure if the savings would be substantial. You may wanna call them and ask them for the price and stock availability before going down, in case of a wasted trip ya...

    Now my Mr E is eyeing the improved version of Vento Fino:( As what the Amasco lady said, this mini fan is chilli padi, the wind very power! And she is right! Will head to JB one of the weekends to test our bargaining skills. Most likely it will be either Fino version 1 or 2?

    Yes, i called iona today they told me this model has been discontinued, advised me to try my luck at mustafa! So I cheong there to buy one!

    Haven't go JB yet. If I go, it shd be next weekend. But now thinking maybe I should buy all downlights here. I scared if I buy in JB and somehow it is faulty, have to go back exchange. What do u think?

    Bluecheeze, what my friend did was she tested all e down lights at e shop to make sure it's working so that she does not hv to make a double trip. But becos she ordered alot and e shop dun hv all e stock she still hv to make another trip down to collect it. The cost savings are substantial enuf so no complains hahaha...

    I have been looking for this fan but to no avail. Best denki told me it's out of stock and they not bringing in anymore. Which best denki outlet did you buy this from?

    Is Best Lights within walking distance? I wanna get track lights...

    Pai seh, do you know if Ho Seh and Best lights are open on Sunday?

    Yes they are within walking distance. Jus a few shops distance.

    U can get e track lights from Best. I got mine there, it's led and it's cheap :)

    They are both open on Sunday but for Best they close earlier on Sunday. If I didn remember wrongly shld be ard 2pm to 3pm.

    Oh dear.. Mayb they increased e price :(

    If you haven bought ur lights u can go and check it out still. Best Lights is also located along e same stretch.

    For ceiling fans, Best Light also carries some range and their prices are more competitive.

    Because Mangoo mention that it cost SGD250+. So they (ho seh) ajusted the price?

    It's really way exp from e price given to me. But must really negotiate e price w then when u r there. And then if there is a few of u interested., perhaps group buys can fetch more discounts too.

    What kinda lights? Are their philips downlight cheaper compared to lightings dot com? I emailed them to enquire about the fan, they quoted me RM1200 but says is negotiable. ZZZ :furious:

    Omg! So exp... When they quote me e price previously it was e best price that was given by them. Usually e price can be negotiated.

    Is e RM1200 for e improved version? My goodness.. So exp.

    Yay, thanks for your reply! I might go next weekend then if time permits.

    Ya u can go in and check out e lights too. The lights are definitely cheaper.

    In fact in e end we didn buy e fan becos we were too late in catering an additional electrical point for it.

    Your can buy it at e same shop in JB.

    The one that doesn't oscillate costs ard sgd250plus.i m not too sure how much it cost for e improved version. Shld be ard e same price ba... :)

    Hi Mangoo, may I know where did you see this fan in Malaysia? Is it this address - Ho Seh Lightings / 47, Jalan Rosmerah 2/10, Taman Johor Jaya, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor ?

    Any idea if the fan can oscillate up down or left right? Would love to get one for my home if it fits my budget. Thanks for your help!

    If I m not wrong, there is an improved version of this model that can oscillate left right and up down. Price wise I m not too sure. The outlook of e fan is exactly e same :)

    BTW you mention that there is no false ceiling at your house. So I assume the track lights at your living room are all original points? Sry if i miss sth out. Really like the way your house turn out. Although it's not exactly a theme I am going for but I wouldn't mind living there haha!!

    For e living room if I didn remember wrongly we had 2 lighting points originally. We shifted e position and added an addition lighting point.
