Just out of curiosity did anyone hear a bunch of noise makers on Monday night (1 Feb)? I was totally knocked out from exhaustion, but my hubby said there were some people making alot of noise until someone got fed up and threw a waterbomb at them. Peace prevailed thereafter. I was totally amused when I heard about it.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions, but personally, I'm excited to see how Bedok Mall will turn out. Sure it can't compete with the shopping haven in Tampines, but that's hardly an apple to apple comparison. I was very surprised when I learnt that Spageddies is taking over the Burger King space, feels very out of place, but who knows, maybe it's a sign of things to come. Soon we'll see the ah-peks and aunties slurping up pasta just as comfortably as they would be with their bak chor mee.

Waah, that's an old old pix of that area...when it was still part carpark and part grass patch. I remember gingerly parking my car in that open air carpark after I had just gotten my driving licence. Heheh That's disappointing. I liked their hokkien mee. It's one of the more decent stalls in that kopitiam *sighs*

We have a spider infestation in ours. Dunno where they're coming from but there's really a non-ending stream of them appearing and re-appearing in our unit. But then again, better to have spiders than other pesty insects.

Yep, my fiance's a pretty IT-centric kind of guy and we're both pretty heavy users of the internet. So we would like to have a LAN so that we can be wired up throughout the house. However, we would like to know if anyone else has done so, so that we can find out how others have planned the cable-laying
