  1. My soon-to-have resale flat is a corner unit and there is a big nice wall right beside my main door, it is not blocking any neighbour either, am thinking to put my shoes cabinet beside my main door (with a locker set i bet), since my living/dinner hall is relatively small, so i wish not to put my shoes cabinet inside the house. wondering if i will get fined by hdb if they spot check?
  2. Hey Mike, thought you won't be coming to RT for at least a week, so nice to hear from you again. Now i have a better pic over the glass doors. How about the aluminium sliding door with acrylic panel in centre, I bet you know it too (not bi-fold type), how's your comment over this type of kitchen entrance door?
  3. Hi sillyboy, first of all, congrats on your new sweet home, and secondly, you are definitely not silly! because of your tblog, I found a life-saver, that's the bennington C600!!! I've never known there is such a multi-point heater available in the sg market, and I seriously hesitate on the MRT map piping coming from the gas heater. Thanks to you, the smartest 'silly'boy, I now finally can fulfill my father's request, to have hot water supply for the kitchen!!! Genius and thank you!!! The best part is C600 can be installed below the sink! What else I can ask for!!!
  4. Ah, thanks May, was reading your toilet bowl selection episode just now, you and me have the same idea on our bowls, hahaha! Talking about the kitchen door, is a must for us, cuz my parents are cooking heavily, my kitchen is very windy which will bring the smells and heat all the way to the living room. Problem is I don't like bi-fold door as kitchen entrance door, looks sorry leh, husband also say glass door, po pian lor.
  5. Recently, I met few IDs and they have different perspectives on the kitchen glass doors. One said sliding door is better, cuz it saves space in terms of fully aligning to the wall, and looks nice. But the other said top hung sliding door will have a ugly track on top, and any problems on the roller, then means $$$ for repair. She also said not many kitchens are suitable for swing hinged door, and mine has perfect structure for it. Any one can give me some ideas the pros and cons on the sliding door vs swing hinged door? How about the top hung track thingie, need pelmet to hide it? Besides, We have an one-year old little monster at home. Banging every place if he finds it interesting, so will it be sliding or swing more child-proof? Thanks.

  8. Seriously, 'She' was not reading the thread properly. Sorry, no offenses. But just curious that 'She' would still want to buy from the shop with such an incident happened to angry papa.
  9. Hi, can you pm me where you got your sofa, it's the type that I like, with flexi L shape, and no partitions for seating cushions. And how much is it? Thank you!
