Juz met up with Jimmy today to discuss on my reno.... Nice and friendly chap .... Told him my budget and he have no problem working with tat amount and he gave some cost cutting advice to meet my budget which still allow me to get the design I wanted which I think is fair..... Now waiting for his quote in a week time....

Can share wat are the scope of work u requested him to quote for?? I hav tight budget too and since he can do up yurs aeound 20K plus, hopefully he won't hav problem with mine since I hav a slightly more budget...

I think it's reasonable but depend on your kitchen design... My exotic kitchen designed by my wife cost me around 10k excluding tiling works and there are no top cabinet... It's the most expensive among all other items.... Still looking for other quote before confirming which contractor to award the job to....

Hi, I have not used his service but did went down to their office in toa payoh to discuss on my reno design which we already had in mind. Upon looking at my kitchen design, he straight away reject it saying that he can't fabricate the design we wanted and re-proposed another design of his own which are commonly installed. In fact, he rejected most of the design we had and re-proposed based on his own taste... Seems to me that he's not creative enough or open to new idea.... But again, he may be juz trying to be helpful knowing that his carpenter have no experience with those exotic design... well, this is juz my own experience with him... U can give it a try if u wish too....

Dude, Apart from carpentry works, can they also carry out reno for whole house such as tiling etc??? It will be easier rather then getting another contractor to carry out the rest.... u know, coordinating thhe workis not easy job unless I can spent time everyday supervising these contractor....
