    just to share, the Toshiba AW-D950SS with DirectDrive inverter motor is going for $579 at Harvey Norman wharehouse sale@60 Benoi Road till 08 Apr 07. SRP is ~$680, its out of stock but they accept the order and promised to deliver it ASAP when stock arrive. have to pay in full though.

    you should connect the Starhub HD STB's HDMI cable to TV if the TV support HDMI. connect the the the digital SPDIF to to HTS, otherwise use analog red/white audio. you could do your original method provided the HTS support HDMI switching--accept multiple HDMI input and output HDMI signal to TV. whats your TV and HTS?
