so seems like its still possible to get preggy with doctors' prescription.. i dun need to b in despair when both me and my hubby are ready to conceive.. i'm afraid that my chances of me conceiving is quite low as my menses r always irregular.. 2-3mths see red once! it can be 5-6mths once as well..

tomolo I will be giving myself a break away from going to the new nest... cos its my bird-dae!! my frens are having dinner with me.. den sat will be the A/c installation day!! Will also be expecting the cooker, hob and oven, sink, tap and shower sets.. Cant wait for the reno to be over.. though I dun want my birthday to come so soon

RENO DAY FIFTEEN Not much progress as of yesterday.. only that we've completed the door frame painting.. and the lights and ceiling fans have been delivered.. din take pix of them cos all r nicely packed in boxes Just wan to share my modest walk-in-wardrobe... the walkway into the MBR. Paiseh pix looks quite blur.. haiz I din check the pix quality after taking it. the entrance to the wardrobe.. the front portion of the partition has been reinforced for me to mount my LCD tv.. if I get enff savings to get one.. the walk-in area without the racks.. will be very small after the shelving racks r placed..

Hi Jessi, the MBR toilets at our area r really very small loh! so disappointing.. actually before I got the keys, I wanted to put a bathtub there.. after seeing the real toilet.. I sianz half.. the shower area is really kecik.. tts y I dun even wanted a shower screen even though I got my ID to make a shower kerb..

no la.. din engage any FSM.. jus that my ID said that I can arrange my furniture to come in at that 3rd week of May.. so I presume that we can shift in by that weekend loh anyway.. I oso din do "dong tu", my mother said can consider the HDB rectifications as the 'ceremony' loh.. if my mother said okie.. I am okie.. din really bother abt all these practices

i cant wait too! tentative shift in date will b 19th May.. i felt very 'shiok' after the painting loh.. cannot even walk properly.. everywhere is aching How's ur reno coming along? read that u got HDB to re-tile for u.. hope tt all is well!

RENO DAY FOURTEEN.. L-box is up!! Partition wall for walk-in-wardrobe is erected!! YEP~ Painting of the door frame by us is still on-going.. lights will be delivered today!!! My cove light area.. projecting into the dining area..

if u lose keys.. most likely is the whole bunch of keys.. so in the end oso need to cut all the keys.. if got one key.. mayb its gg to b cheaper to duplicate one key rather than 3-4keys

my father in law paid so much for Song Cho stainless steel stuff for the kitchen and the toilet.. yet the toiletries rack in the toilet oso became rusty.. the moral of the story is that we still need to maintain the rack cos ss still can rust after wear and tear..

thats what me and my hubby are discussing abt.. we r interested in the DURO lock.. but it cost $138.. and if we top up $90 we can get a 3-in-1 system.. so it kinda tempted us to get it for the convenience

hihi, my hubby and I had chanced upon DURO Master System at Home Fix.. cost $228 for a padlock + lock for wooden door + lock for letter box system.. all these 3 locks can b opened by the same key. We r still considering if its worth to pay that amt of $$ for the convenience.. do U have any recommendations on where we can scout ard for more choice on that kind of 3-in-1 system??

haha.. thanks.. i paint until i got blisters over my hands.. i think i need some soothing cream for my hands~! :sob: but.. when I looked the walls that I've painted.. i cant help to feel so proud of myself.. it took me much determination to complete it loh..

RENO DAY TWELVE able to get a day leave today after all.. den dear managed to get MC oso.. so went down to help out my lao pei.. today's result: 1. Service Balcony --- painted the wall with Apricot colour by myself!! so proud of me and myself!! 2. Living Room Feature Wall -- yummy yummy Chocolate colour view from the main entrance.. balcony painted with Ivory view from the balcony.. paint looks uneven.. cos its the first coat and is not completed dried.. my father managed to get the passageway and most of the living room+ dining area painted with Morning Dew.. In total.. we took 3 days to complete 80% of the painting.. left 2nd coat to the walls in living room and dining area, balcony and the bomb shelter.. YEP YEP HURRARY!! i think we r even faster than commercial painters.. hahahahha KIV painting the door frame and main gate with the gloss paint..

keke.. hope that the red wall will bring us xtra $$ from 4D.. yesterday.. my neighbour's unit no. strike 4D loh.. I think my stamina lose to him, a 55 YO man.. haha.. but he dun look like 50s..

thanks for the compliment~ its really very tiring to be DIY painter... totally exhausted.. but really have to my lao pei.. he came to start painting in the morning till late evening without much breaks loh.. vs me.. i've lost count of how many times that I gave up painting halfway to lie on the floor.. hahaha anyway, we applied bright colours on one wall in each room.. and used off-white paint with the rest of the walls.. it kinda created an effect whereby the off-white wall became a lighter shade of the colour used in the room when sunlight come into the room.. e.g, in my MBR.. the rest of the walls appeared to b light pink with the bright red wall in the center..

haha.. i try to help ard.. if not very boring leh.. my mother is the one sitting ard and providing us drinks + food.. keke my lao pei is the expert.. hahaha.. RENO DAY ELEVEN Pix of our hardwork.. My yoga/exercise Room = Green for tranquility I had proposed a daring move.. painting green at underneath the beam to create an interesting visual effect~ looks not bad Hubby's Games Room managed to get my "stuck in the mud" hubby to do the same effect!! not bad as well Study Room decided to change to this bright yellow - Mayam Yellow from Nippon 5000.. looks Only applied the first coat.. tts y it appeared uneven.. my father is gg to touch up with 2nd coat tomolo!! tomolo have to depend on my LaO Pei.. to complete the rest of the house.. cos hubby and I cant take leave to help out.. cant wait to see our wall colours tomolo!! my Lao Pei is a fast painter man.. he said shd b able to finish most of it by tomolo.. Another Update!! We had signed up with Starhub for the Cable TV and the MaxOnline service.. Guess what? We had got ourselves a 29" Samsung Slim TV (for my hubby's PS2) and a LG Chocolate Micro Hi-Fi FOC!! In the end, we walked away from the Starhub roadshow at IMM with a new digital set-up and FOC small portable fridge and a earphone~ such a good deal leh!!

u sound so pessimistic.. but actually, its the truth... guys jus tend to take his wife for granted.. after marriage, wife = target board for venting frustrations + doing household chores + providing his meals.. and the list goes on.. last time before marriage, my hubby used to bring me ard shop shop, sightseeing ard spore.. now? ask him to pei me go shopping like asking him to go to die my frens even commented.. before marriage seldom see me turn up for gatherings, after marriage, I seem to be free to entertain frens~

The showflat I went to.. had many interesting areas.. but all hidden in the corners.. so was quite interesting to explore the house bit by bit!~

hi hirox, mind if I ask U what overhead shower that u've seen at HOE KEE?? I bought 2 set of rain shower set from HOE KEE.. it was the cheapest in the market.. cos it was made in China.. but we din question the quality cos it is very cheap hope that it is not the one that the guy complained..

RENO DAY TEN today, we discussed with my ID on the ceiling works and the carpentary design.. he told us that we can start to paint our walls today. After much discussion, we had finally decided upon the following: Living Rm feature wall: Chocolate PL 22014 Rest of living room, dining area, passageway: Morning Dew PL 2194 Hubby's Games Room: Boat Race WW 21317L + Morning Dew My yoga/ exercise Room: Lime Fizz WW 23567L + Morning Dew MBR: Ruby Red PL 2179 + Morning Dew Study Room: Apricot WW 22505L + Ivory WW 22213L actually I wanted to have many many colours for our house.. but hubby and ID opinion is to keep it simple.. haiz.. majority rulez loh. current painting progress: first coat of Morning Dew applied to the 3 rooms.. tomolo still have to continue. Sooooooo tiring.. now got 4 pieces of "kuo yok" on my legs.. haiz getting older~ My lao pei confident that he can finish painting by monday! hahaha

ya loh.. told my ID tt i need to shift in by mid may.. actually wanted to b end apr.. but HDB delayed the retification process..

hi Joyz, thanks for the paint info!! i think most likely i will get ICI paint.. cos they offer real nice warm neutral colours!! arrrggh.. i dun think I can use Natural Cane for most part of my house.. I went to look at the pix of my floor.. the colour of the floor tiles r oreadi similar to Natural Cane shade.. if i use Natural Cane.. haha floor and walls will b flushed!! wahahaha

I liked ur cove lights.. I am thinking of doing up something like that~ hope it willl turn out well!
