Nuttin was done on reno day Twenty-Three and Twenty-Four next week, pending acid wash.. actually, hubby and I have not do anything much walls still waiting for us to touch-up but we decided to take it easy yesterday went to watch the long awaited spidey-man.. NICE nice exciting show, but we were sitting too near to the screen.. got giddy watching spidey man fighting !!

i went past the branch in sungei kadut.. but it was closed.. den we din go down to sungei kadut anymore has been trying to get my lazy hubby to go there to recee.. i got it at lights zone in balestier.. cannot recall the exact price liao.. cos i bought most of my lights and ceiling fans from them.. perhaps its ard $50+ I would recommend U to go to Lights Zone.. the sales rep, Joevin, was very helpful!

i used higher voltage energy saving lights.. its actually orange in colour.. we dun have much problem with the globe lights cos we r not very tall.. haha.. i din catch leh.. mayb will download the show from mobtv den will try to catch the add.. actually i was kinda interested in wihardja's furniture leh.. think they have a branch at sungei kadut

i got 1 remote for 1 fan coil.. my parents' a/c oso 1 remote for 1 fan coil this is the first time i've heard that a/c company giving 2 remote per fan coil.. and its not necessary for 2 remotes to 1 fan coil wat.. the 1 remote can control the 3 of the a/c

RENO DAY TWENTY-TWO din go to the nest to check today.. cos sick.. i think its time for me to take a rest.. btw, i am waiting at TV for the 8.30pm King of Thrift.. its featuring cheap furniture today!! stay tuned~

i bought the biggest model as well.. the 2.9m in length.. now afraid that it may make my living area looks very cluttered cos got pool table at dining area i think i will jus use the sofa for a few yrs den go change into another cheaper and smaller set..

hi vermilion, had read ur blog abt the quarrel that u had with ur hubby due to the kitchen laminate.. i had just chosen the laminate last weekend.. actually wanted the conventional way of choosing a dark woody tone for the bottom cabinet and a lighter tone for the top cabinet.. den my ID proposed a new laminate design.. kinda like orange tone with red and brown stripes.. ID said can make the top and bottom cabinet the same laminate.. looks interesting.. so we went ahead with the new idea.. I hope it will turn out well! will post the pix when my kitchen carpentery is up! actually, i think the process of choosing the designs for the house is like a gamble.. jus go with your gut instinct and hope it will all turn out well.. but, of course, need to get some advise from experienced people like your ID..

RENO DAY TWENTY ONE nuttin much was done except that the pebble wash area was covered with cardboard.. yawnz~

anyway.. our kitchens are very small.. limited area to put our stove and sink liaoz.. thats the most logical position

my pebble wash colour is abit dark.. i've seen other pebble wash at a lighter shade.. so u may need to discuss with your ID on what U would like to have..

RENO DAY TWENTY.. stayed over yesterday to touch up the house.. its like a never-ending process today, my lao pei came to put up the rest of the lights and ceiling fans!! Its really hard work to place those lights/ fans from the floor up to the ceiling.. kudos to my dad! Din expect one worker to come down to do the pebble wash.. At entrance foyer.. At Balcony.. by the way.. the perimeter of the tiles are pasted with masking tapes to prevent staining with the epoxy.. cant wait for the tapes to b removed!! My expensive globe light.. my father broke one in the morning den have to rush down to ikea to pay $49 to get another one really loooove this light.. looks like a full moon at night my ceiling fans.. both without the light covers cos feared that the workers might break them when doing carpentery. **** area at study room realli nice!! !! the rest of the lights are partially installed till reno is completed.. will upload more pix when carpentery is up as well~

me eyeing on the Duro Lock oso.. but very very ex.. hubby was asking what to do with the spare lock.. I said use it to lock the bicycles!! wahahaha.. but I think the safest way is to use 2 locks on the gate loh..

its exposed unfortunately .. yupz its plaza singapura.. i shower with cold water at 2 different toilets for the past 2 days, the pressure was fine.. cove light is nice.. cheaper somemore..

i got them from Hoe Kee.. it was the cheapest amongst the shops selling santiary wares.. will recommend U to go PS.. cos the sales reps are the most knowledgeable and friendliest among all the other branches. I got a gas heater from City Gas FOC.. din try out the gas heater though cos the gas pipe was not switched on.. and I dun dare to switch it on cos the cooker has not been installed

btw.. thanks everyone for the well wishes on my birthday! I had an enjoyable day with my friends and hubby.. and i got nice gifts from them as well not to forget that I had received a pretty bouquet of flowers from hubby (must say that if not he'll say dunnoe whether I appreciate his efforts anot)

RENO DAY SEVENTEEN.. very tired~ whole day at the house.. A/c completed installation by Gain City.. workers were very helpful and friendly! Water pipes are up and running.. shower sets are in position. Laminates for kitchen cabinets, study table, and feature wall, + patterns of grilles chosen (after much difficulty)! Blanco sink, tap, Cuizino hob, hood and oven were delivered.. awaiting to be in place after kitchen carpentary is completed.. hubby is very happy with the casing at the A/c ledge.. as it is neater.. the unsightly trunking at MBR.. haiz.. was told that the trunking cannot b at the top cos of my structural beam is too near to the door spiderman shower set at MBR toilet.. jus had a shower there.. the rainshower set at common toilet.. hubby did his shower there my blackie sink going along with my blackie twinkle countertop..

thanks thanks actually now birthday is not really a happy event for me.. haha.. today I am over mid-twenties liaoz.. haiz skin is saggy now.. sad.. thanks i think tts the only place where we can put the WiW lor.. our room is soo tiny.. after the bed is placed in.. the remainding space is jus nice for one person to walk ard at one time! thanks.. hope u all have a nice day as well~!
