my stupid dog likes to mark ard the house.. and will scratch and chew whatever things he can find on the floor or the things he can reach.. he is quite tall when he stand up loh (cos he is a sausage dog). Alot of our things at my parents in law's house were already destroyed by him liao.. so cannot take the risk of him running ard free at my new place.. so no choice he has to b used to being locked up.. btw the pivot door that we r choosing will b besglas glass door.. tried and tested at my parent's place.. he once stayed over there for a week.. scratch the door like mad.. oso no scratches! hahaha haha.. i jus realised that the pattern of the door tt we had chosen, is the same as my parents in-law's!! hahahahahahahahahahahah i've stayed there for 1yr+ and I din realised it.. my hubby was even worse, stayed there for 20+ yrs oso din realised..

are u staying in JW?? i think even if ur contractor not uncle soon.. i think the tiles HDB supply are more or less the same.. unless u choose to top up to get better tiles.. but they do overlaying of tiles.. not hack and re-lay them.. so do take note~ to change the doors cost so expensive loh! Actually, I was quoted $280 for a bifold door at the common toilet by my ID.. heng, HDB changing for me... I was quoted $680 to place a pivot door at the kitchen loh.. heartache.. its the price to pay to lock my dog in the kitchen when we r at work.

there was another set of doors that cost $65 each.. heard from him that there was a price jump since a mth ago.. he said I suay.. din get the flat earlier.. now have to pay much more. We had chosen the 'solid' wooden doors (as claimed by Uncle Soon) for $95 each.. actually, the unit above me rejected that set of doors as they changed their mind on the design.. so uncle soon sold them to me at cheaper price, if not, they cost $125 each leh~! ya.. i was kinda lucky that he is doing up the units nearby so he can start quite soon. Somemore I told him I am really in need to shift by end April cos my furniture is coming in by then. It oso help to keep on calling him to make sure he gets ur message~

zzz i am jus disappointed that my instructions do not get through everytime! haiz hope that the renovation process will b smooth sailing and going along with my wishes..

went to meet up with that uncle Ah Soon to choose the doors.. was told that he disposed the bifold door at the MBR toilet! Oreadi told him that I wan to keep the door liao.. yet he still act on my behalf and throw my door away.. now have to pay $50 extra for the new door nvm, at least we got 2 new bifold doors.. and 3 new solid wooden doors for $380.. and was told that we can get the house back by sat!! Reno aiming to start on nxt monday!! Yeap Yeap Hurrary~

actually I got new set of tiles from HDB.. I jus reported some defects and I get to change all the tiles.. but i realised that the contractor did not hack and retile.. they just overlay the wall tiles..

eeks, the ants r freaking me out.. I am a ant buster, dun think I will keep them as pet!

went to check on the house today.. noted that the PVC water pipe was changed to stainless steel! I din make request to change it leh.. cos my ID is going to do it for me.. haiz.. need to call Uncle Ah Soon to ask tomolo.. oso need to confirm when I can choose the new doors...

Toilet at Kitchen (white wall tiles, light orange floor tiles) actually, my hubby and I had chosen slight orangy wall tiles at the kitchen, white wall tiles and greyish floor tiles for the toilets.. but that Uncle Ah Soon.. got it all mixed up.. he even wrote our request on the wall, and called us a few days later to double check.. yet he still got it all wrong!!!! !! !! HENG, the effect of the tiles that he had chosen was quite nice.. if not I will be jumping mad! The kitchen and toilet looks so much brighter with the white wall tiles !! hubby and I quite happy with the new tiles except my mother.. she said the previous wall tiles looked nicer !! i've made a purchase on a black granite Blanco Sink from Hoe Kee recently.. the sales rep used the steel wool at the sink.. oso no scratches! as good as new. My mother has a cream granite sink.. she is not happy abt the stains from the curry/ chili at the sink.. so perhaps a dark coloured granite sink is better.

Only the Blanco sink at HoeKee caught my eyes.. nice look with good quality (scratch resistant) and nice for my pocket as well.

hmm.. they called it the spiderman shower head.. haha.. i think i looked kinda like octapus that set I'm gg to place it in my MBR toilet. Cost $299 the other one is jus the simple and vintage looking shower head.. cost $139 excluding shower mixer.

I bought 2 sets of rain showers, 1 granite kitchen sink, 1 tap mixer at sink, 2 bidgets from Hoe Kee.. it cost me ard $1100. If u r buying so many things and it cost ard $3000.. i think the price is fine.

Hi, i've just bought 2 sets of rain shower from Hoe Kee.. and will b installing City Gas heater.. now, I am a bit worried that the water pressure may not b enff to have a cosy shower as city gas does not work at electric storage heater..

[actually the windows is quite nice.. jus that the colour is a bit out of place.. mayb u can paint it the same colour scheme as your kitchen.. shd b quite nice. mayb.. I will remove the existing countertop to make it a bigger one to create bartop feeling.. I think U can paint the window to brown.. what is the material of the window frame? I believe that the bar top also can b removed as well.. Perhaps U can hire a contractor/ID can ask him what changes U can do to the area..

from the floorplan, our MBR looks like big enff for the WiW.. but on site.. the room is soo small. In the end, we r boxing up the area after the toilet door to create a small area for the wardrobe. At least, I can walk from the toilet to the wardrobe to get my clothes within the area. My WiW is only 2m x 1.5m.. den the room will only have the bed.. and I cannot place anything else there.

i bought 2 sets of rain shower from Hoe Kee at PS yesterday.. i am gg to use city gas heater.. the salesperson said shd b fine.. wats the side effect of using the rain shower if the water pressure is too low?? saw quite a few pple in the forum using rain shower.. the review is quite okie wat..
