the walls looked fine.. no serious defects that make me i think the HDB got contractors to do up the unit before we get the keys.. as we waited for 2+mths for it.. there was this one door knob left on the floor.. when I checked ard.. all the door knobs were intact on the door.. somemore the taps r brand new.. so I really think that HDB got the unit checked and retified before I got the keys .. !! btw, I will b at my unit later ard in the afternoon 1+pm.. u can drop by loh.. I am gg out to the doc liao.. will PM u my contact.. send me a sms if u r interested to spot check defects for me.. I am doing all alone cos hubby cannot get leave at all..

thanks Cantona.. i went to NH Ceramics to look at floor tiles today~ the showroom at Bukit Merah is very big!! lost at what to choose.. hahaha we wanted to 60x60cm homogenous tiles, but they dun have much variety to choose from..

really dun have leh... the door knobs look new.. tap mixers r new - no doubt.. toilet seat got sticker.. but can clean off. Window Panes no scratches from what I know the rubber gasket at bomb shelter is intact.. main door no scratches.. Jus only the toilet door became yellowish with age.. den the main gate is filled with the stickers stain.. but hubby said can use paint to cover.. U wan to see my unit?? I am gg there to check again tomolo afternoon.. keke..

went to my unit yesterday to meet up with my ID.. upstairs renovating.. the drilling was soo dam loud that i had to loud into his ears!! we were there for ard 15 mins.. my ear drums felt like bursting after i stepped out of the house!

I better go submit the list later.. but I dun have any defect to report except that the toilet door was 'old' looking with many stains.. haha.. oso dunnoe whether I got check thoroughly anot.. but I dun really find any serious defects ard. the nxt complain is that there r some orange stains between the tiles on certain part of the wall in the toilet.. but oso dunnoe how r they gg to retify it..

wa ur service balcony looks like ur main balcony! mayb we can do petition to ur hubby to allow U to paint on other walls..

at the entrance way, facing the door.. the bar counter is designed in a way that I can open the shelf from the front and from the back oso.. even the drawer can b pulled from either front or back!! keke Bro, me no Bro.. me Sis.. I wonder if I can apply for home employment license...

Haiz.. finally can get back my comp.. my comp went bersek! Went to our Love Nest today to meet up with Eric.. had kinda briefed him on what me and my hubby's decor ideas. Before the meetup.. I had a thorough check for defects in the house.. so far so good.. no cracks on the wall and tiles.. no water leakage.. windows and doors work fine.. switches ard the house is okie.. toilet bowl, tap have water supply.. noted that the taps r brand new!! were wrapped with plastic bags.. the new LUBBEN tap.. Went to the Vhive MegaMart in Taman Jurong.. saw this Bar Counter for $599.. that was what we wanted!! Most likely getting it unless better deal come abt~

U can look at my T-blog.. refer to the pix at page 2.. The sofa bed was in similar pattern as the sofa I've bought.. but is in light brown.. actually the green one was very nice! its a pity that it will not go well with the purple/pink colour walls that I want for the guest room. Noted that ur room is white and blue.. I think the green sofa bed will b able to match with the colours in your room. Or another idea I would like to suggest is getting this daybed from Ikea instead.. cost $199. Very nice!! I was thinking of getting that but I chanced upon the sofa bed from Hecom that is so much cheaper..

Eventually, my hubby cannot tahan me so slow.. so he took over the job. SO this time, I think I jus do the small areas like balcony and service balcony.. hahahaha

yea I know.. I made my hubby paint his room before I officially stay with him after our ROM 1.5yrs ago. We took 2 whole days to repaint and rearrange the furniture back.. that was very tiring!! Cant imagine that we need to paint everypart of the house incl. the ceiling.. but my frens r very keen to help! hahaha..

Do U watch HOme Decor Survivor 2?? THere was one episode that Mark Lee used Hibiscus on the ceiling to create a lounge feel... I was kinda smitten by the Hibiscus colour when I saw it.. hahaha

DAISO sells nice simple bedroom slippers.. I used to have one covered bedroom shoes from DAISO.. with non slip soles.. very comfy.. but abit troublesome to wear.

SPOTLIGHT and IKEA!! haha.. been eyeing on the wooden blinds that they offer.. hehehe
