Flushed Door
dizzy replied to dizzy's topic in RENOVATION IDEAS: Interior Design Themes, Space Planning
huh ? What's tic tac door ? -
Anyone has any idea what that is ? my colleague suggested to install that for our storeroom, but he couldn't describe what that is. according to him, this type of door is no-handle, no lock type. so aesthetically more pleasing.

Hi bettybooboo, That's good news ! Could I have the contact of your aircon guy ? thanks !
-
yeah...even if they inspect, they'll inform you way in advance, then you have to fix it back before the inspection.

Going to get the keys to my resale flat and realised that there is no space for a wardrobe in the masterbedroom ! The previous owner had installed an aircon unit at the only available space and only put a chest of drawers there. Their wardrobe is in another room. We are thinking of shifting the position of the aircon unit. Has anyone done that before ?? Thanks

Odie...take care

hahaha I thought that's the name of the CCC Odie....$500 is mid-to-low range already...If you are thinking of those branded ones, they cost $1.3-1.5K per month !
-
aiyoh, u mistaken liao....my son is in full day --> $500 his school's half day is about $400. your son's CCC is quite good leh, still provide dinner. and open from 7 am to 9pm...no need to rush to pick him up. not bad.....hmm....what's KS ? can PM me ?? thanks !
-
no....we evacuated, stayed under sun for 1 hour, then asked to go back to work

mine son's one is $500 after subsidy. It's those privately-run CCC, at those landed property. I think it's average, because the school has chinese and english lessons on alternate days. And they have worksheets to bring home to show parents after every term. And they have at least 1 outdoor trip per month, like visiting chinatown, old folks home. They even have a CNY visiting the neighbours session...very cute. But the school is not that new, and I think the teachers are not all certified. Yah, I think 505 for half a day is quite ex. For my son's school, the difference of half and full day is $100 only.

Yup, Thirsty Hippo doesn't work. We found that to totally prevent mold, you have to paint a layer of laquer (sp?) on the wardrobe. Hi Little Blue Bear, How old is your son ? Mine's 3 year-old and just started N1...Sigh still crying every morning...but according to the teacher, he stops 10 mins after we leave the school. i think maybe your son needs a little more time to adapt to the new environment. But is it true that more expensive CC is better ? I was choosing a few other branded CC like the K... and the Montessori ones, but due to budget constraints, we put him in a mid-range one...but in terms of quality, I really dunno cos he is so young, unable to tell me what they do in school. Yup...SE is good... I've tried Panasonic, Samsung, SE, Nokia...still find SE the best. Nokia's earlier batch of HP is good, but the newer batch with the Symbian OS tends to have problems. It seems to be Symbian OS problem, because my Panasonic X800 also sometimes restarts by itself.

Hi lynzi, how about putting a blind ? I'm going to end up with something like yours too, and I intend to put those bamboo blinds, both to keep the house cool from direct sun and to keep rain out. Could you also share how your balcony looks like ?? -
Hey prismo, mine's also from G...and encountering the same problem.... now searching for a better one, but maybe smaller capacity... er...sorry for intruding too Hi Fifi, are u the only gal in the department ? Have u offended them before ? Actually you can try reacting indifferently, so they find that it is no longer shiok to "disturb" you, then it will stop..

hi Prettibride...thanks for the reply.. nope, think I wont put pots at the balcony, because he can climb ! Think I'll just have to put up the grilles, maybe search for nicer wrought iron grilles. -
