  1. the thing here is the flat is fully paid,MOP met. But if the first owner passed away..can the second owner sell off ?since the first owner already deceased, where will the sales proceed goes to ? if both owner already in their 60+..meaning no more active CPF account and they did not pledge the property.

  4. since you sold already, i m sure they will automatic deduct grant from from sales proceed, this they very automatic but i am surprise if u nvr meet MOP how to sell ? mayb u shd challenge back them. how can they allow u to sell but not buy i aso duno how to help you i guess u can only buy resale or private now..

  7. hi raincole, sorrie to mention that i m not so lucky..my question start with IF..i m still staying in my first subsidied 5rm flat..i thot of downgrading(to 3rm resale), then buy 2nd subsidied 4rm flat..but if need to pay levy, i hv to think thrice now anyway, the 4rm flat ballot is out this friday, do try your luck ! btw,if i buy 3 rm resale, can i take HDB loan?

  10. If I bought an HDB 3rm resale flat (without CPF housing grant) 3 years ago and I intend to sell it in the open market. Do I have to pay resale levy? For your information, prior to my present flat, I had sold a 5rm flat which was bought directly from HDB. If yes, how much will by levy be?

  13. I thot if he stay for >5yr, then he can sublet the whole unit..yeah..my fren was an agent..he told me, customer pay $$, so they just do as told..no need ask so much
  14. oh i see..agent no fine..then i be property agent better..still got commission i really doubt hdb is gonna find out about illegal sublet, my fren NEVER stay in his new house before..i doubt HDB is so free to check on every household.he shd be quiet safe..
  15. hi Maeryn How old was the flat that u intend to buy ? How did HDB came to know of illegal sublet ? Is the agent fine ? Since my fren nvr stay at his house b4..so i doubt his neighbour will know..he's charging $1,200 for sublet. i will think this extra income is quite a good deal

  21. hi zirhk Is there such a clause? fully paid then can rent ? but i called HDB, they say for sublet MOP is 3yr if fully paid, MOP is 5yr if flat is bot direct from HDB. But i find ridiculous because for a fully paid flat, there is no MOP rule when owner is to sell (direct purchase from open market)
