Hi Johnny, I also bought more than RM1k of product from Aldeco from Sutera Mall branch. Very good svc by Siew Juen . Items bought in July but only fixing the taps now due slow slow Reno . 1 tap leaking, just called her n I can bring leaky tap for exchange of other products. That is really good svc bcos the receipt stated clearly "Good sold are not returnable or Exchangeable" don't think u can get that in Spore!!! Aldeco 'wan swee'!!

Hi bento28, the tech guy said ' ate by birds' n wrap with silver foil. Its aliitle diff to accept its bcos ' ate by birds' n asking vendor to provide an alternate solution. Btw, do u know If does wrapping with foil solve the issue? does birds really makan such stuff

Dear all I hav this problem with the black protection tube(sorry dont know what is the proper name for this ...)of my air conditioner and it is sort of disintegrating away. I really do not know what to do. Here is some pic, is this normal. Aircon install in August 2011. I understand wear&tear problem but this is less than a year! Anyone know why this happen? Is it product quality issue? Please help!!

Hi Terrain When bought this flat was complaining kitchen its too small... guess I am very greedy ..hee hee.. I understand how you feel because its similar to my previous reno experience. Very tiring and energy draining, stress, stress! ... Hopeing to have a magic wand to make everything in order with a fick of the wand. My personal opinion is: you shld tahan & demand for your had sign for - the origina design. Your HOME is YOUR CASTLE. However, if you really cannot tahan and want to compromise PLEASE ask for discount or dont pay. Am sure your ID/contractor will act to your favour when it comes to $$$. or perhaps a short getaway for the weekend will help to de-stress alittle and you can better handle this when you are back Good luck and hope to hear/see a 'happy' post next! and have a good weekend

Hi Terrain, yes,you are right the gaps at both ends shld at least be even. I hope you ID/contractor shld get all those not up to mark items rectified. Your sharing has make me more aware of what to look out for when my contractor builds my kitchen cabinet. Hi Terrain I hav been following ur blog and am sorry to hear abt this .... Hope ur contract can resolved this for ur soon. With regards to the 'gap' between the hod n upper cabinet, was told my contract it's norm cos that 'gap' is space for ventilation. I hope all will be soon soon for you aft this. Cheers! FYI I also reside in PR and now having my 5i renovated too. Just like u, HDB delay the approval for my wall hacking of wall Submission for approval hacking n building was done on the 10 July and approval for wall hacking only rcvd yesterday. Reading blogs at this forum really helps... I am more or less ready for what' lies ahead! :)

Hi oneuser & dodofish Thank you very much for ur help. Manage to find an online authorized KDK distributor who also sell the 9" rod at $12 . Will be buying some stuff from him, hence will get him to install the fan. Guess Problem solved . Thanks guys.

Dear all renotalk member, I am a newbie and would like to seek your help and advise with this little problem I have. I went to JB and bought a KDK ceiling fan K15V0 60" ceiling fan from JB recently without measuring the height from ceiling to the floor of my HDB flat. Now I realised that the 12" down rod that comes with the package is alittle too long. Any advise from you guys to resolve this? Thank you all in advance for your advice and help. Xie Xie

Hi Metalbone I am a newbie.... I bought a KDK K15V0 60" ceiling fan from JB 2 weeks ago. Hav not install yet cos flat just started reno. I think the down rod is a little too long for my unit.
